Mercy Seat Transformational Ministries began more than ten years ago as a family home based fellowship then simply known as Mercy Seat Ministries. Founded by Pastor Hellen Wamuiga-Karu after feeling the great need to fill the gap for deeper prayer and studying the word of God. In that period before the ministry became a full fledged church , we have seen souls come to the knowledge of salvation, i
mpartation of the spiritual gifts to its members, super miracles of healing and much more than can be documented here. The ministry used to hold regular monthly keshas (overnight prayers) and Saturday afternoon fellowships in various homes of its members. In the beginning of the year 2020 the Lord directed Pastor Hellen to open church in a physical location. This gave birth to the church as it is currently known as Mercy Seat Transformational Ministry. The church is anchored on the scripture below:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

The church desires that people are delivered from the shackles and captivity of satan and be transformed through the word of God and enjoy their new found salvation living lives in abundance. The church believes in the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God ,the manifestation of the power of God through miracles signs and wonders Mercy Seat Transformational Ministries believes that Jesus Christ is coming back again soon as a Judge and there is urgent need to prepare the saints for His second coming.
