3rd Sunday of Lent
Reading 1 (Exo 17,3-7)
And so the people were thirsty in that place, due to the scarcity of water, and they murmured against Moses, saying: “Why did you cause us to go out of Egypt, so as to kill us and our children, as well as our cattle, with thirst?” Then Moses cried out to the Lord, saying: “What shall I do with this people? A little while more and they will stone me.” And the Lord said to Moses: “Go before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. And take in your hand the staff, with which you struck the river, and advance. Lo, I will stand in that place before you, on the rock of Horeb. And you shall strike the rock, and water will go forth from it, so that the people may drink.” Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. And he called the name of that place ‘Temptation,’ because of the arguing of the sons of Israel, and because they tempted the Lord, saying: “Is the Lord with us, or not?”
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 95)
The Praise of a Canticle, of David himself. Come, let us exult in the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to God, our Savior. Let us anticipate his presence with confession, and let us sing joyfully to him with psalms.

Come, let us adore and fall prostrate, and let us weep before the Lord who made us. For he is the Lord our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.

For he is the Lord our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts: as in the provocation, according to the day of temptation in the wilderness, where your fathers tempted me; they tested me, though they had seen my works.

Reading 2 (Rom 5,1-2.5-8)
Therefore, having been justified by faith, let us be at peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. For through him we also have access by faith to this grace, in which we stand firm, and to glory, in the hope of the glory of the sons of God. but hope is not unfounded, because the love of God is poured forth in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Yet why did Christ, while we were still infirm, at the proper time, suffer death for the impious? Now someone might barely be willing to die for the sake of justice, for example, perhaps someone might dare to die for the sake of a good man. But God demonstrates his love for us in that, while we were yet sinners, at the proper time,
Gospel (John 4,5-42)
Therefore, he went into a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the estate which Jacob gave to his son Joseph. And Jacob’s well was there. And so Jesus, being tired from the journey, was sitting in a certain way on the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria arrived to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me to drink.” For his disciples had gone into the city in order to buy food. And so, that Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, being a Jew, are requesting a drink from me, though I am a Samaritan woman?” For the Jews do not associate with the Samaritans. Jesus responded and said to her: “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give me to drink,’ perhaps you would have made a request of him, and he would have given you living water.” The woman said to him: “Lord, you do not have anything with which to draw water, and the well is deep. From where, then, do you have living water? Surely, you are not greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and who drank from it, with his sons and his cattle?” Jesus responded and said to her: “All who drink from this water will thirst again. But whoever shall drink from the water that I will give to him will not thirst for eternity. Instead, the water that I will give to him will become in him a fountain of water, springing up into eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Lord, give me this water, so that I may not thirst and may not come here to draw water.” Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and return here.” The woman responded and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her: “You have spoken well, in saying, ‘I have no husband.’ For you have had five husbands, but he whom you have now is not your husband. You have spoken this in truth.” The woman said to him: “Lord, I see that you are a Prophet. Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, but you say that Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.” Jesus said to her: “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you shall worship the Father, neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know. For salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and it is now, when true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeks such persons who may worship him. God is Spirit. And so, those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” The woman said to him: “I know that the Messiah is coming (who is called the Christ). And then, when he will have arrived, he will announce everything to us.” Jesus said to her: “I am he, the one who is speaking with you.” And then his disciples arrived. And they wondered that he was speaking with the woman. Yet no one said: “What are you seeking?” or, “Why are you talking with her?” And so the woman left behind her water jar and went into the city. And she said to the men there: “Come and see a man who has told me all the things that I have done. Is he not the Christ?” Therefore, they went out of the city and came to him. Meanwhile, the disciples petitioned him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” But he said to them, “I have food to eat which you do not know.” Therefore, the disciples said to one another, “Could someone have brought him something to eat?” Jesus said to them: “My food is to do the will of the One who sent me, so that I may perfect his work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months, and then the harvest arrives?’ Behold, I say to you: Lift up your eyes and look at the countryside; for it is already ripe for the harvest. For he who reaps, receives wages and gathers fruit unto eternal life, so that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. For in this the word is true: that it is one who sows, and it is another who reaps. I have sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.” Now many of the Samaritans from that city believed in him, because of the word of the woman who was offering testimony: “For he told me all the things that I have done.” Therefore, when the Samaritans had come to him, they petitioned him to lodge there. And he lodged there for two days. And many more believed in him, because of his own word. And they said to the woman: “Now we believe, not because of your speech, but because we ourselves have heard him, and so we know that he is truly the Savior of the world.”

Ash Wednesday
Reading 1 (Joe 2,12-18)
Now, therefore, the Lord says: “Be converted to me with your whole heart, in fasting and weeping and mourning.” And rend your hearts, and not your garments, and convert to the Lord your God. For he is gracious and merciful, patient and full of compassion, and steadfast despite ill will. Who knows if he might convert and forgive, and bequeath a blessing after him, a sacrifice and a libation to the Lord your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call an assembly. Gather the people, sanctify the church, unite the elders, gather together the little ones and infants at the breast. Let the bridegroom depart from his bed, and the bride from her bridal chamber. Between the vestibule and the altar, the priests, the ministers of the Lord, will weep, and they will say: “Spare, O Lord, spare your people. And do not bequeath your inheritance into disgrace, so that the nations would rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ” The Lord has been zealous for his land, and he has spared his people

1st Sunday of Lent
Reading 1 (Deu 26,4-10)
4And the priest, taking up the basket from your hand, shall place it before the altar of the Lord your God. 5And you shall say, in the sight of the Lord your God: ‘The Syrian pursued my father, who descended into Egypt, and he sojourned there in a very small number, and he increased into a great and strong nation and into an innumerable multitude. 6And the Egyptians afflicted us, and they persecuted us, imposing upon us the most grievous burdens. 7And we cried out to the Lord, the God of our fathers. He heard us, and he looked with favor upon our humiliation, and hardship, and distress. 8And he led us away from Egypt, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, with a mighty terror, with signs and wonders. 9And he led us into this place, and he delivered to us the land flowing with milk and honey. 10And because of this, I now offer the first fruits of the land which the Lord has given to me.’ And you shall leave them in the sight of the Lord your God, and you shall adore the Lord your God.
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 91)
1The Praise of a Canticle, of David. Whoever dwells with the assistance of the Most High will abide in the protection of the God of heaven. 2He will say to the Lord, “You are my supporter and my refuge.” My God, I will hope in him.

10Disaster will not draw near to you, and the scourge will not approach your tabernacle. 11For he has given his Angels charge over you, so as to preserve you in all your ways.

12With their hands, they will carry you, lest you hurt your foot against a stone. 13You will walk over the asp and the king serpent, and you will trample the lion and the dragon.

14Because he has hoped in me, I will free him. I will protect him because he has known my name. 15He will cry out to me, and I will heed him. I am with him in tribulation. I will rescue him, and I will glorify him.

Reading 2 (Rom 10,8-13)
8But what does Scripture say? “The word is near, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith, which we are preaching. 9For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and if you believe in your heart that God has raised him up from the dead, you shall be saved. 10For with the heart, we believe unto justice; but with the mouth, confession is unto salvation. 11For Scripture says: “All those who believe in him shall not be confounded.” 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. For the same Lord is over all, richly in all who call upon him. 13For all those who have called upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Gospel (Luke 4,1-13)
1And Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan. And he was urged by the Spirit into the wilderness 2for forty days, and he was tested by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days. And when they were completed, he was hungry. 3Then the devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, speak to this stone, so that it may be made into bread.” 4And Jesus answered him, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ ” 5And the devil led him onto a high mountain, and he showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, 6and he said to him: “To you, I will give all this power, and its glory. For they have been handed over to me, and I give them to whomever I wish. 7Therefore, if you will worship before me, all will be yours.” 8And in response, Jesus said to him: “It is written: ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him alone.’ ” 9And he brought him to Jerusalem, and he set him on the parapet of the temple, and he said to him: “If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here. 10For it is written that he has given his Angels charge over you, so that they may guard you, 11and so that they may take you into their hands, lest perhaps you may hurt your foot against a stone.” 12And in response, Jesus said to him, “It is said: ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” 13And when all the temptation was completed, the devil withdrew from him, until a time.

7th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Reading 1 (1Sam 26,2.7-9.12-13.22-23)
2And Saul rose up, and he descended into the desert of Ziph, and with him three thousand elect men of Israel, so that he might seek David in the desert of Ziph. 7Therefore, David and Abishai went to the people by night, and they found Saul lying down and sleeping in the tent, with his spear fixed in the ground at his head. And Abner and the people were sleeping all around him. 8And Abishai said to David: “God has enclosed your enemy this day in your hands. Now therefore, I will pierce him with my lance, through to the ground, once, and there will not need to be a second.” 9And David said to Abishai: “You shall not kill him. For who may extend his hand against the Christ of the Lord, and yet be innocent?” 12And so, David took the spear, and the cup of water that was at Saul’s head, and they went away. And there was no one who saw it, or realized it, or awakened, but they were all sleeping. For a deep sleep from the Lord had fallen over them. 13And when David had crossed over to the opposite side, and had stood upon the top of the hill far away, so that there was a great interval between them, 22And responding, David said: “Behold, the king’s spear. Let one of the servants of the king cross over and take it. 23And the Lord will repay each one according to his justice and faith. For the Lord has delivered you this day into my hand, but I was not willing to extend my hand against the Christ of the Lord.
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 103)
1To David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and bless his holy name, all that is within me. 2Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his recompenses.

3He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your infirmities. 4He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with mercy and compassion.

8The Lord is compassionate and merciful, patient and full of mercy.

10He has not dealt with us according to our sins, and he has not repaid us according to our iniquities.

12As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our iniquities from us. 13As a father is compassionate to his sons, so has the Lord been compassionate to those who fear him.

Reading 2 (1Cor 15,45-49)
45Just as it was written that the first man, Adam, was made with a living soul, so shall the last Adam be made with a spirit brought back to life. 46So what is, at first, not spiritual, but animal, next becomes spiritual. 47The first man, being earthly, was of the earth; the second man, being heavenly, will be of heaven. 48Such things as are like the earth are earthly; and such things as are like the heavens are heavenly. 49And so, just as we have carried the image of what is earthly, let us also carry the image of what is heavenly.
Gospel (Luke 6,27-38)
27But I say to you who are listening: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. 28Bless those who curse you, and pray for those who slander you. 29And to him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your coat, do not withhold even your tunic. 30But distribute to all who ask of you. And do not ask again of him who takes away what is yours. 31And exactly as you would want people to treat you, treat them also the same. 32And if you love those who love you, what credit is due to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33And if you will do good to those who do good to you, what credit is due to you? Indeed, even sinners behave this way. 34And if you will loan to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is due to you? For even sinners lend to sinners, in order to receive the same in return. 35So truly, love your enemies. Do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. And then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he himself is kind to the ungrateful and to the wicked. 36Therefore, be merciful, just as your Father is also merciful. 37Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38Give, and it will be given to you: a good measure, pressed down and shaken together and overflowing, they will place upon your lap. Certainly, the same measure that you use to measure out, will be used to measure back to you again.”

3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
Reading 1 (Neh 8,2-4a.5-6.8-10)
2Therefore, Ezra the priest brought the law before the multitude of men and women, and all those who were able to understand, on the first day of the seventh month. 3And he read it openly in the street which was before the water gate, from morning even until midday, in the sight of the men and women, and those who understood. And the ears of all the people were attentive to the book. 4aThen Ezra the scribe stood upon a step of wood, which he had made for speaking. 5And Ezra opened the book before all the people. For he stood out above all the people. And when he had opened it, all the people stood up. 6And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people responded, “Amen, Amen,” lifting up their hands. And they bowed down, and they adored God, facing the ground. 8And they read from the book of the law of God, distinctly and plainly, so as to be understood. And when it was read, they did understand. 9Then Nehemiah (the same is the cupbearer) and Ezra, the priest and scribe, and the Levites, who were interpreting for all the people, said: “This day has been sanctified to the Lord our God. Do not mourn, and do not weep.” For all of the people were weeping, as they were listening to the words of the law. 10And he said to them: “Go, eat fat foods and drink sweet drinks, and send portions to those who have not prepared for themselves. For it is the holy day of the Lord. And do not be sad. For the joy of the Lord is also our strength.”
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 19)
8The law of the Lord is immaculate, converting souls. The testimony of the Lord is faithful, providing wisdom to little ones.

9The justice of the Lord is right, rejoicing hearts. The precepts of the Lord are brilliant, enlightening the eyes.

10The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for all generations. The judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves:

15And the eloquence of my mouth will be so as to please, along with the meditation of my heart, in your sight, forever, O Lord, my helper and my redeemer.

Reading 2 (1Cor 12,12-30)
12For just as the body is one, and yet has many parts, so all the parts of the body, though they are many, are only one body. So also is Christ. 13And indeed, in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether servant or free. And we all drank in the one Spirit. 14For the body, too, is not one part, but many. 15If the foot were to say, “Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body,” would it then not be of the body? 16And if the ear were to say, “Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body,” would it then not be of the body? 17If the whole body were the eye, how would it hear? If the whole were hearing, how would it smell? 18But instead, God has placed the parts, each one of them, in the body, just as it has pleased him. 19So if they were all one part, how would it be a body? 20But instead, there are many parts, indeed, yet one body. 21And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need for your works.” And again, the head cannot say to the feet, “You are of no use to me.” 22In fact, so much more necessary are those parts of the body which seem to be weaker. 23And though we consider certain parts of the body to be less noble, we surround these with more abundant dignity, and so, those parts which are less presentable end up with more abundant respect. 24However, our presentable parts have no such need, since God has tempered the body together, distributing the more abundant honor to that which has the need, 25so that there might be no schism in the body, but instead the parts themselves might take care of one another. 26And so, if one part suffers anything, all the parts suffer with it. Or, if one part finds glory, all the parts rejoice with it. 27Now you are the body of Christ, and parts like any part. 28And indeed, God has established a certain order in the Church: first Apostles, second Prophets, third Teachers, next miracle-workers, and then the grace of healing, of helping others, of governing, of different kinds of languages, and of the interpretation of words. 29Are all Apostles? Are all Prophets? Are all Teachers? 30Are all workers of miracles? Do all have the grace of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
Gospel (Luke 1,1-4; 4,14-21)
1Since, indeed, many have attempted to set in order a narrative of the things that have been completed among us, 2just as they have been handed on to those of us who from the beginning saw the same and were ministers of the word, 3so it seemed good to me also, having diligently followed everything from the beginning, to write to you, in an orderly manner, most excellent Theophilus, 4so that you might know the truthfulness of those words by which you have been instructed. 14And Jesus returned, in the power of the Spirit, into Galilee. And his fame spread throughout the entire region. 15And he taught in their synagogues, and he was magnified by everyone. 16And he went to Nazareth, where he had been raised. And he entered into the synagogue, according to his custom, on the Sabbath day. And he rose up to read. 17And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. And as he unrolled the book, he found the place where it was written: 18“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because of this, he has anointed me. He has sent me to evangelize the poor, to heal the contrite of heart, 19to preach forgiveness to captives and sight to the blind, to release the broken into forgiveness, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of retribution.” 20And when he had rolled up the book, he returned it to the minister, and he sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21Then he began to say to them, “On this day, this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

2nd Sunday after Christmas
Reading 1 (Sir 24,1-4.12-16)
1Wisdom will praise her own mind, and she will be honored by God, and she will be glorified in the midst of her people. 2And she will open her mouth in the churches of the Most High, and she will be glorified in the sight of his virtue. 3And in the midst of her own people, she will be exalted. And she will be admired by the holy assembly. 4And she will have praise within the multitude of the elect. And she will be blessed among the blessed. And she will say: 12Then the Creator of all things instructed and spoke with me. And the One who created me rested in my tabernacle. 13And he said to me: ‘Let your dwelling place be with Jacob, and let your inheritance be in Israel, for you shall take root among my elect.’ 14From the beginning, and before the world, I was created. And even unto the future world, I will not cease to exist. For I have ministered before him in the holy habitation. 15And in this way, I was established in Zion. And likewise, in the holy city, I found rest. And my authority was in Jerusalem. 16And I took root among an honorable people, within the portion of my God, within his inheritance. And so my abode is in the full assembly of the saints.
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 147)
12Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem. Praise your God, O Zion. 13For he has reinforced the bars of your gates. He has blessed your sons within you.

14He has stationed peace at your borders, and he has satisfied you with the fat of the grain. 15He sends forth his eloquence to the earth. His word runs swiftly.

19He announces his word to Jacob, his justices and his judgments to Israel. 20He has not done so much for every nation, and he has not made his judgments manifest to them. Alleluia."

Reading 2 (Eph 1,3-6.15-18)
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, in Christ, 4just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy and immaculate in his sight, in charity. 5He has predestined us to adoption as sons, through Jesus Christ, in himself, according to the purpose of his will, 6for the praise of the glory of his grace, with which he has gifted us in his beloved Son. 15Because of this, and hearing of your faith that is in the Lord Jesus, and of your love toward all the saints, 16I have not ceased giving thanks for you, calling you to mind in my prayers, 17so that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give a spirit of wisdom and of revelation to you, in knowledge of him. 18May the eyes of your heart be illuminated, so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and the wealth of the glory of his inheritance with the saints,
Gospel (John 1,1-18)
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and God was the Word. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3All things were made through Him, and nothing that was made was made without Him. 4Life was in Him, and Life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6There was a man sent by God, whose name was John. 7He arrived as a witness to offer testimony about the Light, so that all would believe through him. 8He was not the Light, but he was to offer testimony about the Light. 9The true Light, which illuminates every man, was coming into this world. 10He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world did not recognize him. 11He went to his own, and his own did not accept him. 12Yet whoever did accept him, those who believed in his name, he gave them the power to become the sons of God. 13These are born, not of blood, nor of the will of flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14And the Word became flesh, and he lived among us, and we saw his glory, glory like that of an only-begotten Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15John offers testimony about him, and he cries out, saying: “This is the one about whom I said: ‘He who is to come after me, has been placed ahead of me, because he existed before me.’ ” 16And from his fullness, we all have received, even grace for grace. 17For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18No one ever saw God; the only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he himself has described him.

Sunday in Octave of Christmas: Holy Family
Reading 1 (1Sam 1,20-22.24-28)
20And it happened that, in the course of days, Hannah conceived and bore a son. And she called his name Samuel, because she had requested him from the Lord. 21Now her husband Elkanah ascended with his entire house, so that he might immolate to the Lord a solemn sacrifice, with his vow. 22But Hannah did not go up. For she said to her husband, “I will not go, until the infant has been weaned, and until I may lead him, so that he may appear before the sight of the Lord, and may remain always there.” 24And after she had weaned him, she brought him with her, along with three calves, and three measures of flour, and a small bottle of wine, and she led him to the house of the Lord at Shiloh. But the boy was still a young child. 25And they immolated a calf, and they presented the boy to Eli. 26And Hannah said: “I beg you, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord: I am that woman, who stood before you here, praying to the Lord. 27I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted to me my petition, which I asked of him. 28Because of this, I have also lent him to the Lord, for all the days when he shall be lent to the Lord.” And they adored the Lord in that place. And Hannah prayed, and she said:
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 84)
2How beloved are your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! 3My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.

5Blessed are those who dwell in your house, O Lord. They will praise you from age to age. 6Blessed is the man whose help is from you. In his heart, he is disposed to ascend

9O Lord, God of hosts, hear my prayer. Pay attention, O God of Jacob. 10O God, gaze upon our protector, and look upon the face of your Christ.

Reading 2 (1John 3,1-2.21-24)
1See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we would be called, and would become, the sons of God. Because of this, the world does not know us, for it did not know him. 2Most beloved, we are now the sons of God. But what we shall be then has not yet appeared. We know that when he does appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 21Most beloved, if our heart does not reproach us, we can have confidence toward God; 22and whatever we shall request of him, we shall receive from him. For we keep his commandments, and we do the things that are pleasing in his sight. 23And this is his commandment: that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24And those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he in them. And we know that he abides in us by this: by the Spirit, whom he has given to us.
Gospel (Luke 2,41-52)
41And his parents went every year to Jerusalem, at the time of the solemnity of Passover. 42And when he had become twelve years old, they ascended to Jerusalem, according to the custom of the feast day. 43And having completed the days, when they returned, the boy Jesus remained in Jerusalem. And his parents did not realize this. 44But, supposing that he was in the company, they went a day’s journey, seeking him among their relatives and acquaintances. 45And not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46And it happened that, after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, listening to them and questioning them. 47But all who listened to him were astonished over his prudence and his responses. 48And upon seeing him, they wondered. And his mother said to him: “Son, why have you acted this way toward us? Behold, your father and I were seeking you in sorrow.” 49And he said to them: “How is it that you were seeking me? For did you not know that it is necessary for me to be in these things which are of my Father?” 50And they did not understand the word that he spoke to them. 51And he descended with them and went to Nazareth. And he was subordinate to them. And his mother kept all these words in her heart. 52And Jesus advanced in wisdom, and in age, and in grace, with God and men.
