Genesis 1:26-27 man was created in the image of God to take dominion. We have the image of God, His heart. Likeness is the mind of God. Dominion is the expression of God's character.
- Most want dominion than image and likeness.
- The image and likeness produces the dominion.
1. IMAGE is the heart
- Prov. 4:23 it is in the heart we produce issues of life. It must be 1) Protected, 2)Provide Col. 1:9, 3)Purposed/directed 21:1
- Guarding your heart is an intentional move. It's a process
- Eph. 3:20 the image we carry will determine our dominion.
- it's in the image where identity and character are formed.
LIKENESS; the Mind
We think like God. You receive word in your heart, you process it in your mind.
- Discernment is in the mind. Timings.
- Wisdom, knowledge, understanding
- Romans 12:1-2 we are transformed by the renewing of our minds to conform to the mind of God.
- Those with the mind of God have solutions in the society
- the progression of the image is on the mind.
- Gen. 41: in likeness you manifest discernment, wisdom and the spirit of God. V.4-39
- this ushers you to dominion. V.40-41
a) Nurture your thoughts continually
DOMINION
- we have the nature of God in us.
- Col 3:10 we must mirror God. Col.1:9
- Eph. 4:24 put on the newman
- Subject yourself to the right light. John 1:4-5, 2cor.3:18, Psalms 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5
- Gen. 2:7 we received the life of God
- the first image per Gen. 1:26-28, 2:7, was deformed in Gen. 3. Christ came to restore.
- There are old things we received that do not mirror the true image of God. We must deal with them that reflect God as He is through Christ.

In Transformation, We Must Be Believers, Builders, and Bold.

Believers, Builders, and Bold
For us to walk in transformation, we need to be believers, builders, and bold.

-Believers: We must believe in God and His promises. Our beliefs shape our thoughts and influence how we perceive our future.
-Builders: We must translate what we believe into action. Our belief system is a setup for our next level, and it is reflected in our actions and in what we build.
-Bold: We must be courageous enough to step out in faith, face challenges, and pursue our purpose without easily giving in to discouragement.

Romans 12:2

Reach at a point of proving what good, acceptable & perfect.

-Formation begins with a renewed mind.
-God's word reshapes our thinking.
-We learn to discern God's will.
-Growth becomes our outside manifestation.

-By ignoring inner formation is ignoring our future formation.

* John 13:1–3 (there's a knowing in me by receiving Christ)

Spiritual formation begins by:
I. Knowing my identity in Christ (1 Pet 1:23)
II. Discernment
III. Christ takes a shape in us.

Something to be formed there must be labour.
