*THEME: ACCOMPANYING THE LORD*
The Gospel reading recounts the women who faithfully accompanied Jesus and were active contributors to the proclamation of the Gospel of the Kingdom. Once they chose to follow Christ they did it wholeheartedly. Regardless of the diversity among them, they had one common goal to reach as many people as they could and make them the children of God. Let us be inspired by their commitment and that of the Korean Martyrs whom we commemorate today.
