Sunday Service Highlights
We were blessed by a powerful ministration from our resident pastor, Pastor Excel Joseph
Acts of the Apostles 12:1-6
A foothold is a gap, opening, or access point given to the enemy to operate in someone’s life. God calls us to stay watchful, prayerful, and spiritually alert.
Psalms 79:11
What gives the enemy a foothold;
1. Unrepented sin
Hosea 7:1 In this scripture, God desired to heal Israel, but hidden sin kept revealing itself among the people. Their wrongdoing was not confessed or turned away from, and because of that, corruption continued spreading.
Repentance is not just feeling guilty; it is turning away from sin and returning fully to God with sincerity. When repentance comes, healing and restoration begin.
2. Unforgiveness
In Matthew 6:14, Jesus teaches that if we forgive others, our Heavenly Father will also forgive us. Unforgiveness blocks the flow of mercy and keeps bitterness alive in the heart.
In Matthew 18:22, Jesus tells Peter to forgive “seventy times seven,” showing that forgiveness should become a lifestyle, not something done only once.
Forgiveness does not always mean forgetting the pain, but it means releasing the burden to God and refusing to let bitterness rule the hear
3. Carelessness
A careless spiritual life opens doors that prayerlessness and distraction can easily widen.
But the good news is this:
When we surrender fully, God closes every door the enemy has been using.
This was a moment of reflection, correction, and restoration in God’s presence.
May every hidden gap in our lives be sealed by grace, and may we walk in purity, forgiveness, and spiritual strength.
