THE BITTER TRUTH ABOUT OUR YOUTH, TODAY:

A Generation of Young Christians:

1. We are always right and we never accept correction. A corrector is seen as an enemy.

2. We love to sing in Church, but do not read our Bible at home.

3. We are full of lust, sensuality and emotions and we call it love.

4. We want to have wonderful marriages, but by the time we are 25 years we've already spent almost ten years in relationships. Sometimes, we may have had more boy lovers and girl lovers than even our parents.

5. Sexual activities are now part of our relationships calling it romance.

6. We want to be rich in life, meanwhile, we spend all our finances on the latest ipads, iphone, laptops, cameras, smartphones, etc, which in many cases we uses less than 30% of their functions.

7. We do not pay our tithes and offerings claiming we are students.

8. We say we are Christian men & women but dress like hollywood stars and we call it fashion.

9. We love pleasures rather than God.

10. In Church you will see us with our hands lifted up singing slow songs which we call worship but on our phones in our pockets, you will see pics of naked and half naked women, hip hop, Antichrist, etc and we have a nice way of justifying it.

11. We are hardly convicted when we go to Church because our hearts have been hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and pride.

But God foresaw these and warned us in 2 Timothy 3 That In the last days men and women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

We need to change our ways, we have no excuse on judgement day. You can forward if u want to. But I know u wouldn't because is not funny. _share Jesus today to save yourself and the world at Large.

- There is never a moment that His presence is removed from us.
- In these final words, He reminds us that He is always with us.
- Trials will come and go, but His presence will abide forever.
- Even when things seem like they are falling apart, He remains with us.

Lord, thank You for Your abiding and enduring presence in my life. It is a joy to know that no matter what I go through, You will always be there, and You will be faithful to the end.

His Grace the Archbishop, Most Rev. Julius Amoke of the God's Everlasting Love Church will be visiting Mombasa Region in Nairobi Diocese to conduct Installation of Lay Readers and Ordination of Deacons and Priests on Sunday 3rd October 2021 from 9.00am at Bahari Primary School.
Come and witness the goodness of the Lord.

Dear members,
We have a number of our members in Universities and colleges across the country. I think we need to establish their contacts for proper mentoring. This would go along in ensuring they don't loose their Christian virtues at this level.
I've come to learn that most students at such level stray from the values and resort too drug addiction and even drop out of school, a condition we can avoid by giving correct mentoring.
I happen to be the patron of Chulaimbo high school Alumni association and such cases are rampant.
We need to come up as a church and find a formula of reaching out to them once or twice in a semester. Your thoughts?

When you can say, “God, this is what I’m believing for, this is what I’m hoping will happen, but even if it doesn’t work out my way, I’m still going to give You praise. I’m still going to be good to others; I’m still going to pursue my dreams.” That kind of attitude gets God’s attention. You’re saying, "God, not my will, but let Your will be done."

When you tell someone, “I love you. I’m proud of you. You did a great job on that project.” You’re not just being kind; those are healing words. We don’t know what people are going through. They may smile on the outside, but on the inside, they’re hurting, they’re lonely, they’re insecure. Many people have wounds from the past, wounds from people putting them down, wounds from a relationship that didn’t work out. Just a simple word of encouragement, “I’m praying for you,” or a simple compliment, “You look great today,” may be no big deal to you. But to them, it’s helping heal the wound, it’s lifting their spirits, it’s causing them to believe in themselves. Your words can be what keeps them moving forward.

_Worrying is a misuse of the mind. What worrying would do in you and attract to your life is worse off that the hurt caused you. Refuse to worry! The part of you that worries is the exact same part of you that meditates. If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to live in worry and suffer the pains of the hurt. Change your focus and you'll create opportunities for a more glorious life that's always been available for you that you never thought of. Entire water of the sea can't sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship; similarly, negativity of the world can't put you down unless you allow it to get inside you. Do not allow negative and toxic people rent space in your head. Define yourself! Don't blame people for disappointing you; blame yourself for expecting too much! Be yourself, no matter what other people think; What God thinks of you is what truly matters. Seek God's approval, not man's approval._shalom
