The ACK Diocese of Malindi warmly welcomes the month of September with hearts full of gratitude to God for His unfailing love, grace and faithfulness.

As we begin this new month, we pray that God will renew our strength, deepen our faith and guide us in every step we take. May September bring new hope, new opportunities, answered prayers and countless reasons to give thanks.

May God's grace go before us, His goodness follow us, and His peace remain with us in our homes, families, workplaces and communities. Whatever challenges we may face, may we continue to trust in God's promises and walk confidently in His purpose.

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

🙏🏽 Happy New Month of September from ACK Diocese of Malindi!

May this month be a beautiful reminder that God is with us, God is for us, and His faithfulness never fails. ❤️

It was a joyful and spiritually enriching day at ACK St. Philip’s Shomela as the faithful gathered for a Holy Communion Service, presided over by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Reuben S. Katite, Bishop of ACK Diocese of Malindi. 🙏🏽✝️

The service brought together the congregation in worship, prayer, thanksgiving and fellowship as we celebrated the grace of God and the gift of Holy Communion.

During the service, the Bishop shared the Word of God from Mark 10:46–52, the powerful story of Bartimaeus, a blind man who persistently called upon Jesus despite the attempts of others to silence him. His faith and determination eventually led him to encounter Jesus and receive his sight.

The message reminded the congregation of the importance of faith, persistence and courage in seeking God. Like Bartimaeus, we are encouraged not to allow our circumstances, challenges or the voices around us to prevent us from calling upon the Lord. When we approach Christ with genuine faith, He hears our cry and responds according to His will. 🙏🏽

The celebration of Holy Communion further provided an opportunity for the faithful to renew their relationship with God, strengthen their faith and recommit themselves to living out the Gospel in their daily lives.

We thank God for the wonderful fellowship and for the continued growth of the church at ACK St. Philip’s Shomela. May the Lord strengthen the congregation, bless their ministry and continue to guide them in their journey of faith and service.

“Go, your faith has healed you.” — Mark 10:52 ✝️❤️

🕊️ FAREWELL TO THE LATE REV. CAPT. FERDINAND MWASHE CHAI 🕊️

Today, family, friends, clergy and members of the Christian community gathered at ACK St. Thomas Kilifi for a solemn Requiem Mass in honour and remembrance of the late Rev. Capt. Ferdinand Mwashe Chai.

The service was presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Reuben S. Katite, Bishop of ACK Malindi Diocese, as the congregation came together to give thanks to God for the life, ministry and service of the departed servant of God. 🙏🏾✝️

Following the Requiem Mass, the late Rev. Capt. Ferdinand Mwashe Chai was laid to rest at his home in Bofa, surrounded by family, loved ones, clergy and friends who gathered to pay their final respects.

It was a deeply moving occasion of prayer, reflection and thanksgiving as we celebrated a life that touched many and remembered his dedication to God and service to humanity.

As we mourn this great loss, we continue to pray for the bereaved family and all those affected by his passing. May the Lord comfort them, strengthen them and grant them peace during this difficult time.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4 🕊️

May the soul of Rev. Capt. Ferdinand Mwashe Chai rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him. 🙏🏾🕯️

The Bishop of ACK Malindi Diocese, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Reuben S. Katite, has officially launched the Strategic Plan Workshop for the Malindi Community Development Trust (MCDT), marking an important step towards strengthening the organisation’s vision, mission and development agenda.

The workshop brings together key stakeholders to reflect on the Trust’s achievements, identify emerging community needs, assess areas for improvement and chart a clear strategic direction for the years ahead.
