RETIREMENT FAREWELL AND GRAND THANKSGIVING SERVICE.
Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ
The transition committee warmly invites you to join the entire Diocese of Katakwa family for a Grand Thanksgiving and Retirement Service as Bishop John Okude - ACK Katakwa Diocese concludes his journey of episcopal ministry.
The celebration will be held on Sunday, 9th November 2025, at St. John’s Cathedral, Katakwa. We are deeply honored that His Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, The Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya, will be our Main Celebrant on this blessed occasion.
As we gather to give thanks, we humbly reflect on the faithfulness of God throughout this journey — that was full of challenges and triumph and appreciate that his hand led us all the way.
