He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD... not turning to the right or turning to the left. 2 Kg. 22:2. You may recall Josiah was crowned king when he was only eight years old. Latter he found the book of the law which was read to him. He tore his robes in sorrow due to his ancestors disobedience to God. The book became a tool to steer the people so there would be no turning to the right or left of the law. Allowing Scriptures to guide us day by day keeps our lives in the line with knowing God and His will. Read your Bible every day.

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Ps. 42:5
It was in a dark night of the soul that the psalmist sang. It was in a season of deep disillusionment, when he reminded himself "Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. Ps. 73:1". In our own challenging times, may we join the psalmist with a singing revolution for our hearts.

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matt. 5:16.
Whatever little things you do, you are shining the light of God. Let your light shine in singing, in reading the Word, in prayers, in taking care of others etc. Let these simple deeds become a beacon and encourage others to shine their light for God as well.
