PASTORAL SHEPHERDING:
Caring for Christ’s FLOCK.

1: What is the heart of the shepherd?
• Jesus is The Good Shepherd and He is our chief Model and example.
* compassion should drive our ministry - Matthew 9:36.

2: Shepherds must feed the flock.
- Teach The Word well.
- A shepherd has the mandate to Feed, Not Just Inform. - John 21:15-17. 2 Timothy 4:2. 2 Timothy 2:2.
- Guarding Sound Doctrine. - Acts 20:28-35. Titus 1:9.

3: Shepherds must care for the Flock Through Life’s seasons.
- Know your sheep personally. - John 10:14, Proverbs 27:23.
- Carry Burdens Together. - Galatians 6:2, James 5:14-16, Psalms 23.

4 Shepherds must Lead with Compassion and Integrity.
- It is Servant Leadership, Not Domination. - 1 Peter 5:2-4, Mark 10:42-45.
- Carrying Burdens Together. - James 3:1, Galatians 6:1.
