W A L K I N T H E S P I R I T

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his (Romans 8:9)..

There’re Christians who are still easily controlled by the dictates of the flesh and its senses. So, always, they pray, asking the Lord to help them overcome the flesh with its affections and lusts. But that’s a contradiction, because the Word says, “…those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires” (Galatians 5:24 NKJV). What you’re supposed to do is live the Word.

God’s Word reveals your identity, heritage, origin and ability in Christ Jesus; it’s a mirror. Your responsibility is to accept the picture of you that the Word projects, and live accordingly. We read in our opening verse that you’re not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. That’s the declaration of God; that’s how He sees you. Your recreated human spirit is perfected in Christ; so, what then? Galatians 5:16 states what you’re supposed to do and the result: “...Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

You’re to walk in the Spirit because you’re born into the realm of the Spirit; you live in the Spirit; that’s your life now! The reason some still find themselves struggling with unhealthy desires and habits is that they’re not walking in the consciousness of who they are in Christ; they’re not walking in the Spirit. How do you walk in the Spirit? It doesn’t mean floating in the air; it means walking in the light of God’s Word; walking in the light of who you are in Him.

Now that you’re born again, set your appetite on the things of the Spirit. If you find yourself lusting after or desiring the things of the world, you ought to say, “No, that’s not who I am; I’m the righteousness of God in Christ; my spirit is clean; I’m a new creature. I thirst and yearn after God and His Word only. My affection is set on things above, not on things in the earth.” Hallelujah! ~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc, DD.

Philippians 2:9
Incase you don’t know Jesus. I want you to pay attention to the verses I’m going to read to you.

vs 9-10
Did you ever know anyone who had such authority and power?
None of the rulers of the world: politicians, emperors, heads of state, no one ever had such power.

vs11
This is what the Bible says about Jesus. That at the mentioning of his name everyone submits to that name. It’s impossible to resist the power of that name Jesus. This is the name he gave us to live by.

Mark 16:17
Vs 18
We are different because it is said of us, if we drink any deadly thing, it cannot hurt us. We will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It didn’t say we will need them to lay hands on us, but that the world will come to us and we will lay hands on them, and they will recover. Hallelujah!

Go to Ephesians 1:20-22

Vs 21 shows us the extent of Jesus’ authority. Both now and in the future, JESUS is above all.

Reading this verse from the message translation.

“in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever”

But you say “why are things in a mess”, because most of the people given this authority didn’t know it. but now we know, we are utilizing it.

Never use the name of Jesus without expectations, because there is power in that name. It is for the believing ones, so we trust in that name.

Acts 3:6 shows us how Peter exercised this authority that the Lord Jesus had handed over to us the believing ones.

If Peter didn’t do anything with that authority, the lame man at the gate beautiful wouldn’t have received his miracles.

The name of Jesus always work. We may not see it physically at the first, but in the realm of the spirit, things have already happened, now all we need to do is to act. We apply action in the physical and then we see a manifestation of that which had happened in the spirit realm.

The Bible records that the man’s ankle bones received strength, but you can’t see it. How then did we know, it was when Peter pulled the man, and the Bible said “and he leaping up, stood”.

Everyone of us that is born again has something to give to our nations, cities, community, and the whole world. He said tell the nations, righteousness and eternal life is theirs.
Tell the nations that they can have the Holy Spirit is available to them.

This is the biggest thing because you are receiving the spirit of the almighty God and he has come to live in you.

Ephesians 1:21(MSG)
Jesus runs the universe through us, if we let him. In his name we have to proclaim his victory to the nations of the earth. He called us to be a blessing. Remember, the blessings of Abraham? Genesis 12:2-3. Everybody in the earth is to be blessed because of the blessing of Abraham.

Galatians 3:27-29
Romans 4:13, shows God willed the world to Abraham and his seed. Then it is ours.
Romans 4:15-16. The promise is guaranteed to all the seed.
Blessing your country, your city and your nation. Bless your country with peace, righteousness and salvation.
From now on speak peace; speak blessings only.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

PRAYER POINT
Pray and thank the Lord specially for our Dear Man of God, a priceless gift to the body of Christ. Thank the Lord for using our Man of God to saturate the entire world with the truth of the Gospel, and for the opportunity to reach, teach, train and to prepare men for the coming of Christ. Affirm that the Grace upon our dear Man of God continually increases and his heartfelt desire of reaching the whole world for the Lord Jesus is brought to fruition in Jesus Name. Pray and thank the Lord for the tremendous impact of the Word that will be ministered by our Dear Man of God at the June Global Service and Your Loveworld Specials Season 3 Phase 5. Declare that the Word comes forth with so much Power; meeting everyone at their point of need and causing every single attendee to be touched and impacted in a very special way, no one will be left out.

PROCLAMATIONS
Thank you precious Father for my Dear Man of God and for the tremendous impact of Pastor’s ministry in the nations of the world. I PROCLAIM that Pastor is mightily protected from all forms of evil, violence and destruction and from the hands of wicked and unreasonable men. I PROCLAIM that through the ministry of our Dear Man of God billions around the world are impacted and completely transformed and won into the Kingdom of God. FRIDAY, 19TH MARCH 2021

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish_(EPHESIANS 5:26-27)

The Lord Jesus is coming for a glorious Church, one without blemish, a faultless Church. You say, “is that possible?” Absolutely! That’s what His redemptive work was all about. Colossians 1:21-22 (CEV) says, “You used to be far from God. Your thoughts made you his enemies, and you did evil things. But his Son became a human and died. So God made peace with you, and now he lets you stand in his presence as people who are holy and faultless and innocent.”

Through the sacrifice of His own body as the sin-payment on your behalf, you now dwell in His presence. There’s no enmity between you and the Father (Read Ephesians 2:13-16). How comforting it is to know the true nature and character of our heavenly Father! He brought us to Himself. James 1:5 says, He “…upbraideth not…,” which means He doesn’t reproach or criticize you. He doesn’t blame you for anything. He doesn’t count your sins against you (2 Corinthians 5:19).

You’re free from accusation; you’ve been justified. No wonder Paul got poetical in Romans 8:33-34 saying, “Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again….” Then in verses 38 and 39, he climaxed, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Christ Jesus already died for you; He was condemned in your place. Thus, no one should condemn you anymore (Romans 8:1). Christ is your righteousness (1 Corinthians 1:30). It doesn’t matter who accuses you; you’re holy, faultless and guiltless before God, because Jesus took responsibility for all your sins. He’s the reason God doesn’t charge you with wrong. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I thank you for the ultimate sacrifice by which I now stand justified in your presence. I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, unblameable and irreprovable in your sight. Daily Juice

One thing reserved for God alone is worship, so the devil has always sought it. If he can't be worshipped, then he will try to turn others away from worshipping God with challenges. Don't make your challenges your focus; it's a distraction. Refuse to be dominated by your challenges, don't nurse it and rehearse it over and over in your mind. Refuse to allow it sap your joy! Bad memories will play, but just because the memory comes up doesn't mean you have to watch it; change the channel. Your mind is a weapon, keep it loaded with the right materials. Your focus determines your reality. What you focus on grows and energy flows in that direction. Whatever your predominant focus is, that is what you permit to exist in your life. You have to train your mind to think on whatever is honest, virtuous and praiseworthy. Remember, whatever takes a hold of your mind takes a hold of your life. Turn your attention away from the challenges unto God and worship God amidst the challenges for worship is warfare!

[vs: 18] I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

BE SENSITIVE TO THE TIME OF CHANGE ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard… (DANIEL 10:12)

Sometimes, you just know in your spirit that something needs to change in your life, and if you don’t take advantage of that intuition, you could lose the moment. When you know inside you that the time has come for a change or for something to happen, don’t take it lightly; start praying about it, and if, after sometime, you still haven’t seen the desired results, you add fasting to it. If the change still doesn’t occur after a while, keep praying and fasting about it, because the delay could be by Satan.

This was what happened to Daniel as he prayed for the deliverance of God’s people. He had read in the Book of Jeremiah that the deliverance of Israel would come after seventy years in exile, so he knew the time had come and thus began to pray. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia detained the angel that was to bring Daniel the message. Daniel, nonetheless, was faithful and kept praying.

Let’s reach more with the Gospel by becoming a part of translating Pastor Chris’ Messages in several languages.

After twenty-one days, the angel of the Lord finally came with the answer and explained what had happened (Read Daniel 10:13-14). The angel that God sent to Daniel was delayed in the spirit realm, until Michael, one of the chief angels, came to help him. Daniel 9:3-4 AMP.

Perhaps you perceive that it’s time for a transformation in your family, business, academics, finances, health, or ministry. Take it up; fast, and pray! On the other hand, maybe you sense that there’s a certain level of operation of God’s Spirit that should be at work in your life, but you’re not experiencing it; give it attention. Fast and pray about it, because if you don’t, you may lose the timing, as well as the opportunity. So, like Daniel, set your face “…to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting…” Always bear in mind that you can never be disadvantaged! Glory to God!
