Thursday, 13th August 2026 brought deep teaching at the ongoing Women Ministry Conference at 𝘒𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭. Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich led an in-depth session titled 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, unpacking Psalm 24 and Genesis 1:26-31. 🌱

📖 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐄: Overview of Psalm 24
A song written by David, sung during the celebration of bringing the ark home. The Bishop broke it into three movements: God as Creator (v.1-2), God as Holy King calling for holy worshippers (v.3-6), and God the Victorious King with hope for the end of time (v.7-10).
📖 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐓𝐖𝐎: Why Care for God's Creation?
The Bishop taught that God's ownership of everything calls us to guard it with humility — and He blesses those who do (v.5-6). Caring for creation makes us faithful stewards, reveals God's nature and purpose (Psalm 19:1-4, Romans 1:20), sustains human needs, and — if neglected — brings destructive consequences.

The ACK Diocese of Kitale officially opened its Women Ministry Conference yesterday, 12th August 2026 at 𝐾𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑒 𝑆𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑙 – 𝑆𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑦.

🌍🙏𝐅𝐅𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐓. 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐓: 🌱🌳

Thursday, 6th August 2026 brought together 486 people at 𝘚𝘵. 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘴 𝘛𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘵 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩 for another impactful Farmers Field School (FFS) Field Day — a powerful call to stewardship of both body and land. The Chief Guest, our Diocesan Bishop, 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗥𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗵, graced the event and delivered the sermon. 🙌

📖 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔹𝕚𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕡'𝕤 𝕎𝕠𝕣𝕕: The Physical Care of the Environment
🔑 Genesis 1:26-31 | 1 Corinthians 15 | Psalm 139

God commanded humanity to care for the land — everything on earth is His, and we are only stewards. 🌾 The Bishop warned that our recent drought reflects the cost of deforestation and sin's damage to creation, quoting Henry Blackaby: obedience brings blessing, but greed turns the land into desert. He noted the irony that 40% of the world's most arable land is in Africa, yet Africans remain among the poorest.

He extended this to the FFS 𝘗𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 pillar — our own bodies. God cares for us from the womb (Psalm 139), and just as He renews our bodies (1 Cor. 15), we honour Him by eating well, avoiding toxic substances, exercising, and remembering soul and body are inseparable. He closed with the reminder: the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy — but Jesus came to give us life in abundance. 🙏

Tuesday, 4th August 2026 saw a fruitful Field Day at 𝘚𝘵. 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯'𝘴 𝘒𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘻𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩, 𝘚𝘵. 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘭'𝘴 𝘒𝘢𝘱𝘬𝘢𝘪 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩, as the ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕦𝕣 𝔽𝕒𝕣𝕞𝕖𝕣𝕤 𝔽𝕚𝕖𝕝𝕕 𝕊𝕔𝕙𝕠𝕠𝕝 (FFS) gathered for a time of learning and worship. 🙌
Our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich, opened by thanking the members and parishioners for embracing the FFS programme, and expressed gratitude to Just Earth for their continued partnership with ACK Diocese of Kitale. 🤝 So far, the Diocese has registered 27 FFS schools, with several already graduated, and trained 15 FFS facilitators. He reminded the congregation that Kitale, the breadbasket of Kenya, stands on farming — the very first profession given to Adam and Eve.

The Bishop unpacked the four pillars — Spiritual, Social, Economic, and Environmental — focusing on the 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 pillar through John Wesley's timeless formula: 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯, 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯, 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯. 💰
🔹 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻 — Work is God's gift to humanity, given before the fall. It's not a sin to earn well, but shortcuts and greed lead us astray.
🔹 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 — Budget wisely, set savings goals, and don't live beyond your means. Save for the future, not just for today.
🔹 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 — You can only give from what you've saved. There's a secret in giving — God blesses the giver. Share your skills with at least 4 others, support the less fortunate, and begin by giving 10% to the church.
The Bishop and the Diocesan Coordinator encouraged all farmers to press on with their classes to graduation. 🎓

29th July 2026 was a Field Day to remember at the 𝘉𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘬 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘍𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘥 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 (FFS), hosted by Rev. Ayub Nabruk. Farmers proudly showcased the great work done in their demonstration plot — living proof of what faith and diligence can grow together. 🌿

The rally was graced and facilitated by our Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich, under the leadership of MU Coordinator Rev. Ruth Koech, MU President Mama Dorcas Chemengich, and the Diocesan Men Ministry Coordinator Rev. Apollo Osaha. 🤝

On Thursday, 23rd July 2026, KCSE candidates at 𝘒𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 gathered for their Prayer Day, seeking God's strength ahead of their national exams. The service was led by the Diocesan Bishop, The Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich, assisted by the Provost of St. Luke's Cathedral, Very Rev. Dr. Elkanah Osiru, the Urban Archdeacon, Ven. Canon Shadrach Ndiwa, and other clergy — and attended by parents and educationists led by the Diocesan Education Secretary.

1️⃣ "I am not there yet" — even Paul, with all he had achieved, admitted he had not reached perfection. Overconfidence is the wrong attitude.
2️⃣ "I will never give up" — success isn't about never losing; it's the courage to keep moving forward.
3️⃣ "I can do it" — be strong and courageous, for God goes with you. Say no to distraction so you can say yes to your destiny.

𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐌 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄! 📖🙏

On Sunday, 19th July 2026, 372 KCSE candidates from St. Mark's Boys High School (MARK B) gathered for their Prayer Day, seeking God's strength as they prepare to face their national exams. The service brought together parents, community members, and educationists, all standing with the candidates in prayer. Our Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chemengich, accompanied by Mama Dorcas Chemengich, his Chaplain, the Area Archdeacon Ven. Hubert Weyao, the Diocesan Administrative Secretary (who is also the Board Chair) and clergy from neighbouring parishes, brought a timely and powerful word to arm the candidates for the battle ahead.
𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐄: "Press On To Win Exam Battle"
𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐓𝐄𝐗𝐓: Philippians 3:12-22
The Bishop reminded the candidates that winning this battle calls for preparation like soldiers — mentally and physically. But the greatest enemy is not the exam itself; it is the anxiety and fear within. Every candidate must be strong and courageous, standing in the footsteps of Moses, Joshua and Caleb.
He outlined three attitudes every candidate must carry into their preparation:
1️⃣ The "I am not there yet" attitude — Phil. 3:12
2️⃣ The "I will never give up" attitude — Phil. 3:13
3️⃣ The "I can do it" attitude — Phil. 3:14
Above all, candidates were urged to depend on God through prayer and the reading of Scripture as they prepare.
