Commission is a triennial missions mobilization, training and networking conference. It brings together Kenyan University and college students, associates (graduates), church teams and international delegates from over 20 countries in Africa and beyond.

Hello beloved of God.
Just a reminder that the mandate to reach out is still on.

The Fellowship of Christian Unions(FOCUS) Kenya has planned Commission 2017 just for you, just for me.
Commission '17, a mission mobilization and networking conference, seeks to equip young and old, students, associates and church youths on how best to reach out to people of other faiths for Christ. Whether to the atheists,to the Muslims or in the market place, Commission seeks to help us be able to answer tough questions when evangelizing or on apologetics forums.

They say we are talking about the second coming of Christ but nearly half of the world have never heard about His first coming.
And how best would you wind up this year other than coming for Commission.
No one ever outgrows the need for the Gospel. The Great Commission is not for some of us but for all of us.
If you have a heart for missions, come for Commission. If you don't have a heart for missions, then you must come for Commission.

It will be held at Kabarak University Nakuru from 27th December, 2017 to 1st January, 2018. The deadline for registration is 15th December. Register now with Ksh 1000 using FOCUS Paybill number 412412(Register online first where you'll acquire a registration code. When you'll be paying the registration money via the Paybill number above, use the code given after online registration as your a/c number). The rest, Ksh 8,500 (for associates) and 7,500 (for church youths) can be paid after 15th Dec.

Fellow CU member,I hope you're fine in Christ,Much has been said about commission 2017 to be held at Kabarak University in Nakuru on 27th Dec 2017 up to 1st January 2018.It will be a Mega Conference with a lot of impact,also meeting fellow CU members from all over Kenya and great international speakers.The charges are Ksh 4,950 only and you're only required to register with Ksh 1,000 between now and 30th of this month (Nov) and the rest amount (3,950) you'll carry it with you to the venue (Kabarak).We have Profomas aimed at helping you to raise the amount through your family mbrs and friends.The CU will also subsidize the first few interested induviduals to attend only after they register with the Ksh 1,000.Kindly confirm if you're willing and purposing to attend.Please Reply Now in my inbox.0712032021

Here are the recent updates as per our Christian Union Progress:

1. CHANGE OF TIME
√Friday Revival Services(To be starting as from 6PM-7:40PM).

√Saturday Intercessory (6-8PM)
This was adjusted to favor the 1st years who take their meals from Mess,Continuing students residing from far areas.

2. End the 2016/2017 SPIRITUAL YEAR REGIME.
With reference to the CU AGM held on 22/10/17, these are the newly nominated Executive Committee members as presented by the Electoral College(EC):

1. CHAIRPERSON - NAOMI WEKESA.
2. V. CHAIR -GODREY WANYAMA.
3. SECRETARY -FRIDAH.
4. VICE SECRETARY -JAMES MUGO.
5. TREASURER -LONAH KISIA.
6. OUTREACH CHAIR -ONESMUS MUTUKU.
7. DISCIPLESHIP DPT CHAIR -AYIEYE GERALD.
8. WORSHIP DPT CHAIR -DENNIS JUMA.
9. PRAYER COORDINATOR -WILSON NGARUIYA.

HANDING OVER FOR THE INCOMING EXEC COMMITTEE WAS DONE DURING THE AGM ON 22/10/17.HOWEVER,THE OUTGOING SUB-DEPARTMENT LEADERS SHALL REMAIN IN OFFICE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WITHIN 12 DAYS,PROBABLY AFTER THE NATIONAL ELECTIONS ARE OVER, THE NEW EXEC COMMITTEE AS PER THE UNION'S CONSTITUTION,SHALL NOMINATE AND PRESENT THE SUB-DEPARTMENT LEADERS(OFFICIALS).

Our CU AGM held on Sunday 22/10/17 was successful. The event was graced by our STEM Staff Karanja Njuguna.

We take this chance to wish the 2016/17 Leaders under Chair -Juma Fred, God's blessings. The Executive committee, Departmental heads and Ushers. To our ever dedicated and supportive members, thanks you.
