AUGUST TEEN'S CAMP: Final Day was a great success. A total of 32 teens listened to God's living word on Growing Up Spiritually and Evangelism; Becoming a Jesus Influencer.

We got to worship, pray for one another and engaged on discussions in how we can spread the gospel in our schools.

That marks the end of the August Camp. But it's only a coma not a fullstop. Something bigger is coming in December.

We had moments of worship, sharing of the word and interactive moments.

AGC WORSHIP GALA 2026: What an amazing time it was at Karen AGC this past Saturday. All the regions throughout the country were represented by the various AGC churches. It was such joy to experience the unity of the churches and to rally around the theme of A Christian Family. The Gala had three main sessions. First, was scripture memorizations from Colossians 3. Second, was the individual churches' original song compositions. Third, was set piece presentations featuring the hymn called A Christian Home by Barbara Hart. And finally, we had a variety of Sacred Folk songs mirroring Kenya's rich and diverse culture.

We were pleased to worship God together with our sister AGC churches. And our joy overflowed when Northrift Region, as represented by Faith Community AGC, were declared the overall winners of the 2026 AGC Worship Gala. We came back home to Kitale with three trophies:

1. AGC WORSHIP GALA 2026 - OVERALL WINNER
2. AGC WORSHIP GALA 2026 - SET PIECE WINNER
3. AGC WORSHIP GALA 2026 - OWN COMPOSITION RUNNERS UP

Our very own Bishop Rev. Dr. Robert Lang'at adressed us all with an empowering exhortation, a brief origin story of the Worship Gala and also, he mentioned some future plans for the Gala.

We return all glory to God for the wonderful time we had as a unified body of Christ. We thank our AGC Central Office and Karen AGC for organizing and putting together such a great initiative to boost gifts and talent utilization amongst the churches. And we want to congratulate the Faith Community AGC Choir for putting in the effort required for the display of such excellence. Thanks to our Senior Pastor Andrew Muchuma for accompanying us all the way and for the spiritual support.

We were honored to have Justice Onesmus Makau speak to us during our Family Ministry Weekend last Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday we had a full day's seminar on Succession Law. The topic of Wealth, Succession and Wills is a daunting one to fathom. But many members who attended found approachable ways to think about it after extensive talks from Justice Onesmus together with the wife Jane Makau.

And on Sunday the speaker wrapped it up with an empowering message on Family Pillars.

What a joy to have a full weekend focused on family.
