TOPIC: "BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!”
READ: MATTHEW 21:1-14
🌿 PALM SUNDAY MESSAGE 🌿
Today we celebrate Palm Sunday, the day Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem in triumph. The crowds welcomed Him with great joy, waving palm branches and praising God. Yet, He came not as a conquering earthly king, but as a humble King, riding on a donkey, bringing peace, salvation, and hope to the world.
This moment reminds us of the kind of King we serve. Jesus does not rule by force or pride, but through love, humility, and sacrifice. His kingdom is not of this world, and His victory would come not through power, but through the cross.
However, the same voices shouted “Hosanna!” would soon cry “Crucify Him!” This challenges us to reflect on our own faith. Is our commitment to Christ steady, or does it change with circumstances?
Palm Sunday calls us to:
Truly welcome Jesus into our hearts and lives,
Walk in humility, just as He did.
Remain faithful in every season, both in joy and in trials
As we begin Holy Week, let us walk closely with Christ through praise, through sacrifice, and toward the victory of the resurrection.
Hosanna in the Highest!
May Jesus Christ reign in our hearts today and always.
