CHURCH LEAVERS...
There's nothing wrong leaving any place of worship. Some of you joined because you left another place...
The same way we felt okay welcoming you, it's the same way it was okay you leaving the other place to join us.
We all left somewhere to be where we are at the moment, including your pastors.
So we are all or...almost all of us are "church leavers!" There's no big deal about it.
What matters is the WHY (Reason) that led to your exit & HOW you exited, only that! Otherwise, there's nothing ungodly about leaving. Everything falls in seasons.
There are many reasons that may lead to your exit, both good & bad; offenses, seasons, doctrine are just but part of the reasons
(I won't get deeper to all that now).
But whatever reason may be, avoid the temptation of making your exit dramatic or messy. Don't spoil the place as you exit. Don't corrupt hearts as you do so.
No matter the reasons...you can always leave quietly the way you joined in, & let any other person that finds the place conducive be.
There's always a temptation to speak ill of the church you're exiting from. The enemy uses this trick to destroy all your labor you invested there. Don't fall into his trap. It's TRUE they may have offended you, that's normal & expected. But remember that every of your good works that you did there was unto The Lord & not to man, not even the pastor. Therefore, there's a blessing tied to it.
Even if you're hurt always say;
"it's my time to leave..."
And stop at that, then leave the rest to God.
And once you've found another place of worship, never attack your previous. Love them with the love of God and continue serving God. If you ever meet, remember you're still part of the body of Christ... No part of the body fights another!
You can leave yet still relate, Honor,. respect etc. You're not enemies.
UNLESS "OTHERWISE..."
If you're asked why you left them...stick to
"It was just a season for me to leave..." And speak good about them, only good!
