CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF KITUI BISHOP ELECT COAT OF ARMS:
As the Diocese of Kitui prepares for the Episcopal Ordination of Msgr. John Mwandi on Saturday, 8th August 2026, the Bishop-Elect's Episcopal Coat of Arms is now out.

The coat of arms bears his episcopal motto, "Serve All in Love," drawn from the words of Saint Paul in Galatians 5:13: "Through love serve one another." The motto reflects the heart of episcopal ministry: a shepherd called from among the People of God, consecrated for service, and sent to build up the Body of Christ in charity. It affirms that episcopal authority is not a privilege to be possessed but a grace to be poured out in humble service, following the example of Christ, the Good Shepherd.

The coat of arms is the Bishop-Elect's official ecclesiastical emblem, visually expressing his episcopal identity, spiritual heritage, and pastoral mission. Every symbol, colour, and element has been prayerfully chosen to reflect his faith, his ministry, and his commitment to shepherding the People of God in the Diocese of Kitui. It serves as a constant reminder of his call to lead with wisdom, humility, and charity in the service of Christ and His Church.
