REQUEST FOR SPONSORSHIP PARTNERSHIP FOR HOME-BASED ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN PROGRAM.

Greetings in the name of our Lord.
We are writing to request your partnership and sponsorship support for our Home-Based Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Program. Our initiative is committed to supporting children who have lost one or both parents and those living in vulnerable conditions within our community.
Currently, we are caring for several children who face significant challenges, including lack of school fees, inadequate shelter, insufficient food, and limited access to clothing and basic necessities. These children depend on well-wishers and partners like you for hope, stability, and a brighter future.
Through this sponsorship partnership, we aim to provide:
• School fees and educational materials • Safe shelter and basic housing support • Daily meals and nutritional support • Clothing and essential personal items • Spiritual and emotional support for holistic growth
Our vision is to empower these children to become responsible, educated, and self-reliant individuals who can positively impact society. However, we cannot achieve this alone. Your partnership will make a meaningful difference in transforming the lives of these vulnerable children.

One Little Starfish Mission is Advocacy and promotion of Menstrual dignity in our community. Menstrual cycles limits many young girls in active social involvement to achieve or enjoy their full life. Menstrual dignity is an inclusive concept ensuring everyone who menstruates can manage their periods safely, hygienically, and without shame, requiring access to products, education, supportive facilities, and an end to period stigma, transforming menstruation from a barrier into a normal, empowered life experience, crucial for health, education, and equity. It goes beyond just hygiene to address social norms, poverty, and lack of awareness, promoting supportive environments where individuals can thrive, say in;

Education: Prevents girls from missing school due to lack of products or shame, World Vision International.
Health: Promotes hygienic practices, reducing health risks.
Well-being: Boosts confidence and self-esteem, allowing individuals to reach their potential.
By providing sanitary towels, we enabling these young girls to manage menstruation confidently, participate fully in life, and advocate for their needs, linked to gender equity and human rights.

Christmas season blessings center on themes of joy, peace, love, hope, and faith, often rooted in the Christian meaning of Christ's birth, wishing recipients warmth, happiness, and togetherness with family and friends through prayers, greetings, and heartfelt messages. These blessings offer thanks for God's gift, ask for divine favor for health, provision, and forgiveness, and express wishes for enduring light and laughter during the holidays and into the new year. I have watched this video countless times. What is amazing is that even though they are children, this is exactly what all of us go through every day.

We always have goals and desires, but in order to achieve them we face different kinds of obstacles. Some of us manage to overcome these obstacles and reach success quickly; for others it takes time, while for some it never works out.

Among those for whom it fails, there are people who keep crying, complaining, and waiting for someone to help them. Among those who succeed, there are some who, once they get there, forget those they struggled with, sit back and relax, enjoy what they have, and even take from others—doing all this without compassion or a conscience.

There are also those who reach their dreams and still remember those who did not make it. They keep thinking about them and constantly look for ways to help them in one way or another. They are the ones who hold our hand when necessary.

One Little Starfish Mission Kisii-Kenya, is welcoming all and appealing to our potential donors/well-wishers to help in challenging these harmful cultural norms and practices that discriminate against girls in our community. We involving parents, community leaders, and other stakeholders in efforts to promote girls' education. Providing scholarships, mentoring programs, and other forms of support for girls to stay in school.

Let us empower the future by investing in girl child education, ensuring every girl more so orphans and those from less fortunate and vulnerable family has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach her full potential, benefiting herself, her family, and her community. Education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for girls to achieve their full potential, make informed decisions, and participate fully in society.
