Mwambie yesu ana uwezo, yeye ni dawa pekee.
This is a swahili song we do sing lightly I dont know if we do take it deeply as the composer wanted. Do you put yourself in the composer's perspective and try question why did he or she had to come up with those two powerful lines?.

The bible says cast all your treassures to the waters where you will find them after a long period.

What a friend we have in jesus.
John 15.15
We learn several things from the story of jesus and mary
Here are some.
Lets do a comparison when Jesus tells his disciples they are no longer servants but friends.
Lets compare.
A servant does not know what his master does whereas a friend knows what his master does
A servant does not have access to the master where as the friend has access to his master.
Lets look at this
In Genesis 18. 17-19
God is asking shall i hide from Abraham my friend... (ampc)
Look here God had access to all what Abraham had; his children, livestocl and even his household. In our text God is seen consulting on what to do with S***m and gomorrah because in there was his niece Lot.
Lets look at this again
JOB 1.8-11
God is giving honor of Job ahead of satan. If you are a friend of God he will surely protect your dearly.

I was to go on and on but I will give the second part.
REFLECTION
A friend will dearly keep you in toes and protect you in everyway.
The same way with God he will protect you in each and every way.
Keep rooted to him in everything
