The Renewed Mind

After a man has been Born Again, his first need is the renewing of his mind. It is the renewing of his mind that enables him to walk no longer conformed to the old life. Romans 12:2, "And be not fashioned according to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." The renewing of the mind is necessary to the walk in the New
Creation. Ephesians 4:23-24, "And that ye be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new man that after God hath been created in righteousness and holiness of truth."
Before a man can live in the fullness of his privileges, his mind must be renewed.

The renewed mind is the mind that has learned to live by God's Word. The mind of the old creation lives by sense evidence; the mind of the new, by the Word. Let me illustrate it. A Christian who is walking in fellowship has a financial need that he must meet. He does not have the money. He can see no means through which it can come to him. If he were not a child of God he would have no hope. He would be dependent upon his own ability. But the Word declares, "My God shall supply every need of yours." The integrity of God is behind that Word.

Even though Heaven and earth should pass away, that word cannot fail. If this Christian's mind has been renewed, he will have as much joy in what the Word says as he would in the actual possession of the money, for he would know that God will make it good. God's Word means as much to him as sense evidence. In the case of sickness, a child of God is overcome by disease; but the Word declares that by His stripes we are healed. That scripture should bring as much joy to him as the actual symptoms of healing, for God's ability is behind it to make it good. In conclusion, the renewed mind is the mind that lives utterly by the Word. In this course you have learned of what you are in Christ; now live by it and God's ability will be yours.

O' Lord, I ask You to cover and protect me in this season!

Any hands trying to steal from my abundance, be met by the fire of God!

Any plot of the enemy to take what belongs to me, be destroyed now!

Eyes of the enemy monitoring my blessings, be blinded this moment!

Protect what belongs to me Lord, and restore that which has been taken!

Place Your hand in my life Lord, and bring forth a shift in my favor!

From this day forward O' Lord, let overflow and abundance come to me!

Father, you’re reaching out to us began at the cross and you still reach out to us today, and even too the ends of the earth. Help us to understand that you simply desire for us to shed worldliness from our lives. You have made it clear in your word about what you expect from us, let us remove from our lives the sensualities of the flesh that are all around, in every marketplace we partake of. May you help us to curb the eyes that are drawn to every glittering object of materialism. Help us to know the good from the bad and the need from the want. Correct us Father, help us to walk away from a prideful life, let us learn that it leads to a place of destruction within our soul. Let your words be on our lips while we restrain our hands from the toybox of the world. Help us to not concentrate on worry since it will rob faith from us. May we learn to stretch our wings into the heavens as the Eagle when storms come our way. Help us to let the winds of adversity that are generated by the enemy become the very thing that you turn to good, allowing us to soar above the storm. Thank you that when our trust is in you, there is nothing we cannot accomplish for your Kingdom. Amen.

Many lost their lives but God choose us to be alive in such a season and time..
