GUARD YOUR HEART

The Bible warns us to GUARD OUR HEARTS in Proverbs 4:23

WHY?
Because from it come the issues of life.
If you don't guard your heart, it will receive harmful influences
We can be wounded badly when we don't guard our hearts
Our hearts are the source of life and therefore responsible for our well being.
Emotional wounds literally have the capacity to affect our physical hearts!
The condition of our our hearts determine our speech and actions

WHAT
are some of the key issues to guard your heart from:
1) Jealousy
2) Bitterness
3) Pride
4) Anger
5) Negativity
6) Gossip

HOW
Guard it with all DILIGENCE
We must be vigilant and not apathetic in guarding our hearts.
Deal with any creeping issues quickly before they take root in our hearts
Be watchful and mindful at what we allow in our hearts.
A key part of guarding our hearts involves manning our ear, eye and mind gates which will also determine what comes out of our MOUTH Gates which carry the power of Life and death.
Guarding our hearts is a daily conscious effort that we must practise

As a believer, the words that proceed from our mouth should be to the edification and positive benefits of others. Words that brings people into depression and crush people's lives and destiny shouldn't be heard from our mouth but words that brings comfort, peace, joy and light up people's way is what is expected of us.

We should use our tongue to our advantage, that is the reason why decree and declaration are powerful. Maximize the benefit use of your tongue, speak what you want, make a positive declaration upon your life and destiny.
Prophecy good things into your future.
Make a positive declaration over your family and loved ones.

Because according to Job.22.28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

DO YOU KNOW THE POWER OF YOUR TONGUE ?

The tongue is a very small but important part of the body. It plays a very significant role in the body, no words can be said without the tongue. Many believers don't know the power that is in the tongue!
Let take a look at the scriptures 📖
Proverb 18:21
"The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat it fruit".
The tongue has the power to bring life or death depending on the kind of words that is being spoken out. Your words can bring life or death to you and others depending on the kind of words you say with your tongue.

The devil is very conscious of whatever a man says because he knows the kind of authority and power the tongue of a man carries, that is the reason why the devil can destroy the destiny of a man and his generation because of the negative of words the man has said.

It now looks like the devil know the importance of what we have and maximize the advantage to the benefit of himself than we believers do.
when the understanding of a thing is not known, mis use is invietable and one cannot enjoy the full advantage of it.

Whatever you say connects you to the spirit in charge of those words.
So, your words determines the kind of spirit you are connecting your life with.
The words you say in that situation, determines the kind of spirit you are connecting that situation to.

You are in a situation where everything seems not to be going well, don't say negative words like "i don't think this will ever work out for me" or I don't think anything good can ever come out of this thing" when you say stuff like that you are connecting yourself to the spirit behind those words and they will work on what you said but rather prophecy and declare positive words to your life and destiny with faith "what you want is what you should say not what you are seeing" and when you do that, you are connecting and summoning the angel of God to come work on your situation and when that happens testimony

We give thanks to God for the successful conclusion of the Nairobi Diocese election process. We are particularly grateful for the peace and unity experienced throughout this important event. Congratulations to Ven Canon Jonathan Kabiru, our new Bishop-elect. We pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, and favor upon him as he prepares to shepherd His flock.
