PARDON or FORGIVENESS

Granting of pardon or forgiveness does not always mean the end of punishment
Exodus 14:18 - 23
Yes " the Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he doesn't leave the guilty unpunished . He punishes the children of the fathers to the the third and forth generation".

A MAN'S HEART IS PROUD
(PROV;18:12)

Pride is a spirit of self-importance that includes trusting in ourselves.

Boasting and arrogance are sins associated with pride , and they'll bring us to destruction

Pride is deceptive (see Jer;49:16),making a a humble response to God and others is impossible.

God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble,( James 4:6)

Brethren, choose on what you accept in your HEART.

REASONS WHY CHRISTIANS ATTEND CHURCH SERVICES ON SUNDAYS:
-
(1) we have been rescued from our sins, United with a risen ,living Christ and United with each other through faith in Jesus.

(2) And because of that union with Christ Jesus and each other , the Bible- God's WORD , calls us to regular ,weekly expressions of our corporate joy and thankfulness before God in WORSHIP not just isolated Christian individuals scattered around,but corporate gathering

(3) PRAYING,and SINGING,and HEARING God's WORD and CELEBRATING the ordinance of our Lord Jesus.

(Bible reference : pls read 1cor 11:18 & 1cor 14:23).

We are a people created in God's likeness and image, to have fellowship, worship and honor him . And to do HIS Will thus propagating the Gospel of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
