Step 5: *SPIRITUAL WARFARE*

Because we are in constant war with the invisible enemy *The Devil*

We learn that

- Salvation doesn't mean we are not going to get fought by the Devil: Actually He's going to try to knock us down constantly.
- Our attitude in this war with the enemy
- The tactic the Devil uses on/against us.
- what our confidence as believers is.

DEVOTION

We are reviewing *STEP 3 CALLED TO SERVE*

Let's go through the various verses in the lesson on page 10 and 11 of our manual answering the questions asked.

By the end of the lesson we will learn that;

- The Bible teaches that each believer ought to serve, not just be served.
- God has given us gifts that will contribute to the growth of the church, and we need to use them.

Step 2 CHRIST OUR EXAMPLE

Please take time to go through the Discipleship Manual

Things to Learn;-
- Christ is and will always be the best model that anyone can follow
- He lives in us and so we ought to live like he would.

Areas to follow Christ's example;
- Love
- Humility and service
- Compassion
- Courage to confront wrong
- Prayer

About Discipleship this Week

After going through our Manual for the last few months we have reached Step 6.

We are urged to go through the manual again reviewing Steps 1-6 one each day as part of our devotions.

For instance Today we are doing Step 1 KNOWING GOD

Please take time today to go through this.

Things to learn:
- God is a personal God who cares about me
- We can get to know God personally
- God is always seeking a loving relationship with each of us.

Take some time to reflect on the names of God as indicated on the left column of page 7.
