In a world where we are constantly exposed to comparing ourselves with each other...may we encourage our children to depend on God's faithfulness. God alone establishes us when we depend on Him. Remember to thank God for all He has done for you.

As we continue our theme on God's Favor...we reflect on "Obtaining God's Inheritance". We know through the Bible, that God chose us in advance, and gave us the right to be His children and to be part of His family through His Son, Jesus Christ. How great are His kindness and love?!

As Christians, it’s important we help our little children understand the truths of Good Friday and Easter in developmentally appropriate ways.

Children are infinitely different, these are just suggestions;

Help them understand sin - all we do that goes against God’s will. Sins can be big things, little things, actions, or thoughts. Every single person sins but Jesus.

Use language they understand: if your child doesn’t understand the concept of death yet, he/she can likely understand terms like pain, punishment, and loneliness. We can use these words to help explain Good Friday and Easter.
