The ministry was founded by our senior pastor, Pastor Edward K. It was established on 18th April 2004. CHURCH HISTORY
Latter Glory Ministries is a Christian Evangelistic organization that operates out of the Latter Glory Worship Centre located in Kihara. It began as a simple and humble church with seven members at Mr. Njoroge’s rental room measuring 10ft x 12ft. By God’s grace, Mr. Njoroge agreed
that we occupy the room at a monthly rent of Ksh1,200. By then this was a lot of money for us, but our love for God’s work was too strong that we found it a great gesture. After three months the number of members increased greatly. The space was now inadequate so we had to expand the capacity of the room. We approached our landlord and he demolished the back perimeter wall and created a shack like extension and increased the rent by Ksh500 to make it Ksh1,700 per month. In 2005, on 1st May, we saw the urgent need to relocate to another place nearby with enough space (this is where the present church is situated). After much prayer and the Lord’s approval we lease the land which measures 70ft x 40ft. The lease agreement at that time was Ksh500 per month. We took a step of faith and constructed our first temporary church structure. By then we had nothing to use for the roof or the sides of the church. A member who was working in a flower farm brought us the thick translucent polythene paper to use as roofing and the sides so the structure looked like a make shift tent. Later the Lord made a way we got corrugated iron sheets and plywood to reconstruct and complete the church.
