One of the men walking beside the cart reached out his hand to steady it. He dropped dead on the spot. David was terrified. Angry. Confused. Uzza was helping. His intentions were good. But the law had been clear all along. Numbers chapter 7. The Ark was to be carried on poles on the shoulders of Levites. No cart. No touching. David had copied the Philistine method instead of following God's instructions. Good intentions don't override God's protocols. Holiness has rules.

Genesis 15:6
“Abraham believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.”
Meaning
Abraham trusted God’s promise, even when it seemed impossible.
God had promised him many descendants, even though he and Sarah were old and had no child yet.
Because Abraham believed God, God counted him as righteous.
2. New Testament Explanation
This truth is repeated in the New Testament to teach about salvation by faith.
Romans 4:3
“Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Galatians 3:6
“So also Abraham ‘believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.’”

Abraham shows that:
>Faith comes before the miracle.
>God honors those who trust His promises.
>Righteousness comes through faith, not human works.

1 Corinthians 3:16–17 (KJV)
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The Night the Door Opened
Peter Mwangi came to the city with one bag and a stubborn hope. Months turned into years. Jobs disappeared. Friends disappeared faster. Some nights he slept hungry, staring at the ceiling, asking God questions he was afraid to say aloud.
One evening, rain poured as Peter sat alone at a bus park, soaked and defeated after another rejection. With shaking hands, he called his mother, Mary Mwangi.
“My son,” she said softly, “don’t confuse delay with denial. Your door will open.”
Those words burned into his heart.
Peter studied by candlelight, trained in electrical work, and failed his first exam. He wanted to quit—but he tried again. This time, he passed.
Still, nothing changed. Until one morning, when a contractor named Joseph Otieno gave him one day’s work. Peter worked like his future depended on it—because it did.
That day became a week. The week became a breakthrough.
The night Peter sent money home, he cried—not from pain, but from victory. The rain no longer meant rejection. It meant cleansing.
Peter Mwangi learned what many never do: triumph often arrives disguised as endurance.

Revival in the Bible means God’s Spirit renewing His people—bringing them back to repentance, holiness, worship, and power for His mission. It often begins with prayer, humility, repentance, and hunger for God’s presence

A state of spiritual imbalance occurs when there is a disruption or misalignment in one's spiritual life, often manifesting in feelings of disconnection from God, lack of inner peace, confusion, or even stagnation in spiritual growth. This imbalance may stem from neglecting personal spiritual practices like prayer, worship, Bible study, or fellowship with other believers.

Common signs of spiritual imbalance include:

1. Lack of desire for spiritual things: A growing disinterest in prayer, reading scripture, or attending church services.

2. Feelings of emptiness or restlessness: A sense that something is missing spiritually, even if everything else seems fine.

3. Increased vulnerability to sin or temptation: When spiritually disconnected, one might find it harder to resist temptations or fall into unhealthy habits.

4. Emotional instability: A weakened spiritual foundation can lead to heightened stress, anxiety, or fear.

5. Confusion about purpose or direction: Difficulty in discerning God’s will or understanding one’s role in the Kingdom.

To address this, individuals often need to reassess their spiritual disciplines, seek God through intentional prayer and fasting, engage in community with fellow believers for encouragement, and re-align their focus on Christ’s teachings. Would you like to explore ways to address or prevent spiritual imbalance in your ministry?

Hebrews 12:28-29: "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our 'God is a consuming fire.'"
