On August 15 we commemorate the august Translation i.e. Assumption of our most glorious Lady Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary.

When the translation of your immaculate body was being prepared, the Apostles, surrounding your bed, looked at you fearfully. As they gazed at your body, they were overcome by awe.
