As our VBS journey that began on Tuesday comes to a triumphant climax today, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and wonder. Over the past days, we have witnessed seeds of faith being planted in young hearts, hands building crafts, voices lifted in song, and minds discovering God’s truths.
This week has not just been about fun and games; it has been a spiritual adventure — a time when God’s love was made real in each Bible story, every craft, and every prayer. The commitment of our parent teachers, volunteers, and all who supported in prayer has been nothing short of remarkable. Your sacrifices — of time, energy, and faith — have created a space where children could encounter Jesus in a way that is personal and profound.
Today, as we celebrate the culmination of this week, let us remember that this is not the end. Rather, it is a powerful beginning. VBS may be concluding, but the impact of what has happened here is only just starting to unfold. The relationships formed, the lessons learned, and the memories made are stepping stones into a deeper walk with God.
To all the parent teachers: thank you for your tireless dedication, for being a living example of God’s love, for your creativity, patience, and heart for these children. To every volunteer: your service has been the hands and feet of Christ in action. To our prayer supporters: your intercession has lifted every song sung, every story told, and every child who came.
As we close today, let us pray that the seeds sown in this week will bear fruit in the days, weeks, and years ahead. May every child who participated continue to grow in their knowledge of God, in their faith, and in their love for others. And may we, the community around them, continue to walk alongside them — encouraging, discipling, and loving just as Jesus did.
Congratulations, everyone. What a blessed and holy week this has been. God is faithful — and His work in each of these children, and in us, is far from over.
