The physical city or nation cannot destroy itself without the help of its citizens. Kenya cannot disintergrate without the help of its citizens. Therefore, for Satan to destroy a city or a nation, he requires the help of its citizens. How does he do this? Before Satan attacks a society or a people physically, he first deactivates their spiritual alertness with strategies identical to those used in the battle over the walls in Jerusalem. The condition of the walls around Jerusalem was deplorable. The walls of Jerusalem were in ruins, destroyed by enemy invasion, and the gates had been burned with fire. Without walls and gates, a city is open to invasion on every side from enemy forces. The walls had been destroyed and the city was in this miserable condition because of disobedience, lethargy and sin. When the enemy realized that the people had their guards down and they were no longer alert, he knew that he had already won the battle and he would then attack. Today however, the enemy attacks in a different manner. He first destabilizes or immobilizes our spiritual antennas and creates a condition of opaqueness or temporary spiritual blindness in order for him to stealthily disarm our guard and ability to protect our cities and then he attacks. Whenever our spiritual walls are destroyed, we too become open to physical attack by the enemy.
When a City’s values, standards and culture is attacked, the city is left bear and vulnerable to attack. When a City is disintegrated, disfranchised and the people no longer stand united, then the enemy has the perfect opportunity to steal, kill and destroy. The enemy’s strategy is always to DIVIDE and RULE however and in whichever way possible. On the other hand, UNITY and PEACE are weapons that the enemy cannot be able to pe*****te through.
