Today at Gatakaini, Kiarugu, Mutira Ward, Kirinyaga Central, I together with my team paid our last respects to the late Elias Nyoike.

Elias was a young and industrious man. His life was cut short after a short illness, but his hard work and spirit will be remembered by this community.

To the family, relatives, and friends: May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time. His passing reminds us all to cherish life, live with purpose, and hold our loved ones close.
May the soul of Elias rest in eternal peace.

My heart is with the families in Inoi Ward affected by the suspected food poisoning after a burial on Friday, August 14.
To the over 100 people who fell ill, and especially the 14 still in hospital including 2 young children at ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital - I am praying for your quick recovery.

This is a reminder to all of us: let’s be vigilant about food safety at funerals, weddings, and harambees. Cook well, serve on time, and ensure clean water.

I thank our medical teams and the County Public Health team for responding quickly.
I stand with you, Inoi. Get well soon.

THIS IS TOO MUCH!
Urgent measures required!
MWEA WE NEED TO TALK MY PEOPLE!
It's with great sadness 💔😭 that I have learnt of the death of a man found in Mahigaini, Gathigiriri Ward, Mwea yesterday morning, Wednesday August 19, in a case reportedly linked to su***de. This comes just days after another man lost his life in a similar manner in Redsoil, Mwea on August 12.

As a mother, a lawyer, and a daughter of Mwea, my heart is heavy. Losing our men, our husbands, fathers and brothers to despair is a crisis we cannot ignore.

I condemn all forms of violence, including Gender-Based Violence, and the silence that pushes people to hopelessness. Families need peace, not pain.

Let us talk. May God comfort the bereaved families and may the departed rest in peace.
