NEWS IN:
Pope Leo XIV has appointed Bishop Joseph Obanyi Sagwe to be the Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret .

This appointment comes after the official solemn welcoming of Bishop Dominic Kimengich as the Coadjutor Archbishop of Mombasa Archdiocese.

Bishop Joseph Obanyi Who is also the Bishop of Kakamega will oversee the running of Eldoret Diocese until it gets an official shepherd to succeed Bishop Dominic Kimengich.

On the sidelines of the Youth of Light (YOL), Mass presided over by Rt. Rev. Bishop Joseph Obanyi Sagwe, the Catholic Justice and Peace Department of the Diocese of Kakamega, continued its Lenten Campaign outreach on civic education.
Mr. Vincent Sh*tsama, Officer in charge of Public Affairs, engaged the faithful especially the youth of Khwisero Constituency on key issues of governance, democracy, and the right to participate in elections.
He encouraged all eligible youth to take part in voter registration and to embrace their civic responsibility as active members of society.
