We joined the faithful of Butere Diocese across 18 parishes for a day of fellowship.

It was also an opportunity to share the work that ADS Western is undertaking within Butere Diocese and the wider region.

Our staff engaged in interactive sessions, with some delivering messages from the pulpit. The day culminated in a tree-planting exercise carried out across all the parishes visited.

Through our partnership with Vivamos and communities around Kakamega Forest, we are working towards growing trees to cover 30 acres of land and beyond.

On this and every other day, let us join hands in protecting the future of our community through sustainable actions.

The following stories synthesize cross-sectoral outcomes, illustrating how vulnerable populations are actively exercising their agency to build wholesome, dignified, and ecologically balanced futures.

Christ came to proclaim good news to the poor, freedom for the prisoners, sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.

May this also be our daily mission as we serve our communities: to bring hope, restore dignity, and stand for freedom in all its forms.

Happy Easter
