AWANA is derived from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.Awana offers multiple curricula levels from PP1, Primary and High school. Awana missionaries and volunteers run local regional competitions between churches and Children National Camps. We offer churches with materials for both Leaders , clubbers and help them start the Awana ministry, train ch
urch leaders how to introduce kids and youth into the Awana program and instruct church leaders at Awana Ministry Conferences on how to better utilize the Awana ministry. Awana missionaries are completely "faith supported" by donations from churches and individuals, thereby acquiring all of the funds necessary to keep each of their ministries funded in addition to receiving all funds needed for their personal housing and income needs. indeed we must be the light to the dark world, we must bring and be the taste to the tasteless world, and we must be the one to reach the unreached with the gospel of love and action. We may not reach every one in need but we must reach those who we can, it is our responsibility and our task and obligation to do what we can to touch a life positively. We may not do every thing but we can do some thing to affect a life positively to the glory of God. We can not do all this all alone and that is why we have opened the door for well wishers, donors and sponsors to support our program. In our County ( Kajiado ), we have over 100 clubs. I and you can add more clubs especially in towns or in a remote areas where Children are just looking after animals or playing just in market places. We partner with all Churches, CBO's FBO's , NGO's and all ministries. We together can touch lives positively, we can be the change we want to see in the world and when we touch a child we touch a future generation positively. and leave a mark that can not be erased. I can but together we can do more to the glory and the honor of the name of the Lord.
