Good Evening Team the Help girls Stay in School Participants Led by Vivian and Julius held a sensitization workshop on the progress of the mission at St. Monica Catholic Church yesterday. The Young Christian workers were taken through the work of the HGSS project and the progress so far. In attendance were the young men and women of the YCW AND THE SENIOR YOUTH.
Vivian our program manager took us through her experiences in distributing sanitary kits to the Turkana girls and the TUUM Mission. She called upon the members of the YCW and the larger St Monica fraternity to join hands in supporting the project in cash in kind as well as volunteer. Several members of the group expressed sympathy with he girls but praised the HGSS for the efforts to reach out to the vulnerable. Below is a few of the photos

The Young Christian Workers in Kitengela on Sunday led over 800 Christians in Celebrating mass at the St.Monica Kitengela Catholic Church, this was the first public mass to be held at the Church since the ban on public gatherings as a result of the COVID 19 Pandemic. Below are some of the photos.

SAINT LUKE, Evangelist.
Luke was a doctor and a well educated man. He embraced the christian faith and became a companion of Saint Paul.
He is the author of the third Gospel and of the Acts of the Apostles.
In his writings he brings out in a very special way the gentleness and compassion of the Lord, the action of the Holy Spirit and the role of Mary as the mother of Jesus and of the Church.
"The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few" (Luke 10:1-9).

9 members of the Young Christian workers were yesterday awarded with Certificate in Palliative Care after a 5 day training at the Nairobi Hospice.The youth are now equipped with a skills in care of Terminally Ill patients especially those suffering from incurable diseases Such as HIV/AIDS and Cancer.
