Each Mass reenacts Christ's sacrifice, allowing the faithful to receive His Body and Blood through the priest. Consequently, Holy Thursday highlights the essential link between the Eucharist and priesthood. Holy Thursday also underlines humility and service. During the liturgy, the priest reenacts Jesus washing His disciples' feet, a powerful symbol of servant leadership. This act reminds both clergy and laity that true greatness in the Church is demonstrated through love, sacrifice, and selfless service.
