STEP WHILE IT’S MOVING
“Don’t be afraid to step on the moving water - faith was never meant to stand still.”
There is a dangerous lie in the world today: “Wait until it’s safe.”
But faith has never been safe - it has always been obedient. Peter didn’t step out of the boat because the storm stopped. The wind was still shouting, the waves still rising, yet Jesus said one word: “Come.”.
And the Bible says, “Then Peter got down out of the boat and walked on the water” (Matthew 14:29).
If Peter had waited for calm, he would still be in the boat - dry, comfortable, and powerless.
At the Jordan River, God didn’t part the waters first. Scripture says, “The priests’ feet touched the water’s edge, and the water stopped flowing” (Joshua 3:15–16).
Heaven moved after faith moved.
Some of us are praying for open doors while standing still. We are asking God to make a way while refusing to take the step.
But God does not bless intention - He blesses obedience.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
If you need to see it before you move, that’s sight.
If you move because God spoke, that’s faith.
The water may still be moving - but step anyway.
Because faith that doesn’t move is faith that doesn’t work.
Good night
