Christ is coming with clouds and with great glory. A multitude of shining angels will attend Him. He will come to raise the dead, and to change the living saints from glory to glory. He will come to honor those who have loved Him, and kept His commandments, and to take them to Himself. He has not forgotten them nor His promise. There will be a relinking of the family chain... Jesus earned people's trust long before He asked them to follow Him.

He listened.
He was truthful.
He kept His word.
He served with humility.

Our influence grows when our character speaks louder than our position.

As God has shown me the travels of the Advent people to the Holy City and the rich reward to be given those who wait the return of their Lord from the wedding, it may be my duty to give you a short sketch of what God has revealed to me.

The dear saints have many trials to pass through. But our light afflictions, which are but for a moment, will work for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory—while we look not at the things which are seen, for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
I have tried to bring back a good report and a few grapes from the heavenly Canaan, for which many would stone me, as the congregation bade stone Caleb and Joshua for their report. (Numbers 14:10.) But I declare to you, my brethren and sisters in the Lord, it is a goodly land, and we are well able to go up and possess it. EW 13.3

Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

The faithful discharge of today’s duties will be the best preparation for tomorrow’s trials. We will not gather together all tomorrow’s liabilities & cares to add to the burdens of today. God gives us strength for each day. God knows, God understands.Grow in trust & unshaken confidence. UL 44

Sometimes the things we deal with daily can be so overwhelming, and trying to talk about them feels just as hard. But Jesus gets you. You can be real with Him about what’s weighing you down. He’s always ready to listen.
