The battle belongs to the Lord!

In a COVID-19 world, our true and lasting hope is in the God of our Salvation. He is the God who fights for His people and His Church. He can bring the victory. He can stop the Coronavirus and turn around the global economy with just a word. But, He is also doing something greater than we can imagine in such a time as this, and we wait for Him to fulfill all that He intends to do in this season.

Take heart, my brothers and sisters, 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

God himself will strengthen you in this battle.

And when you don’t know what to do, you can pray like Jehosaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:12: “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

That is my prayer for you, brothers and sisters:

May God see you and strengthen you. May God fight for you. May you turn your eyes on Him when you don’t know what to do, and may you remember that the battle is the Lord’s.

Wonderful things happen to those who recognize Jesus as the Mighty God and who call on Him. When people refuse to recognize Jesus as their Mighty God, He cannot bless them, for they have shut the spiritual window of their lives. But to those who have yielded their lives to Jesus, He can be their Mighty God. Everything promised in Scripture can happen to you, because Jesus is mighty to bless those who have faith to receive it. What is your greatest desire today?

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4).

I believe Jesus is the Mighty God to answer prayer. He is also the Mighty God to overcome bad habits and to give you strength to resist temptation. He is the Mighty God to give you peace in the middle of a storm. He can take you off of your wayward path and give you purpose in life. He transforms from the inside out. If you need a spiritual makeover, call on Jesus, your Mighty God.
