Waiting is hard. Especially when you've already endured so much. Hebrews 10:36-39 meets you right there, tired but not finished, weary but still standing. The writer doesn't dismiss your exhaustion. He redirects it: "You have need of endurance." Why? Because the promise isn't canceled; it's coming. But the just shall live by faith. Not by sight. Not by comfort. Not by immediate reward. By faith. The one who shrinks back when the wait gets long reveals a heart that never truly trusted. But you are not of those who shrink back. You are of those who believe, who endure, who live by faith until the promise arrives. And it will. He who is coming will not delay.
