welcome back for the word of God, his mercies are always with his people, we are now back.
Are you overpowered by temptations? Temptation succeeds when your heart is unprepared for it.
It is not enough only to deny ungodly desires; you must also find your godly desires fulfilled in the Lord. Instead of looking for pleasure in this world apart from God, psalms 37:4-6 says “Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart” Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
Whether in temptations, delight yourself in the Lord.
Have a blessed day in Jesus name

Mathayo 21:21.
Mungu akuwezeshee yote in the name of Father, Son and Holy spirit. Amin.

Isaiah 35:3 & 4.
Weak people are strengthened.

Strengthen the weak hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.”

(1) Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees: The coming judgment would be enough to make the hands of anyone weak, and knees of anyone feeble. But in light of the glorious restoration God will bring from that time, there will be no time to have weak hands or feeble knees, and before that time comes, God has sent me to tell you to be strong. God does not bless weak people, so be strong, if you are heartbroken, forget everything and move on, it's not time to be weak and weary, Get strong and get going!

(2) We use our hands to work with; those with weak hands are not working for the LORD as they should. We use our knees both to progress with and to pray with. Those with feeble knees are not progressing with the LORD and praying as they should.

In Hebrews 12:12 quotes this verse from Isaiah to make the point that even in a time of chastening from the LORD, we should take strength and courage in the LORD, knowing that it is His Fatherly love and care that has allowed and directed the chastening. It’s time to get strong in the LORD and move on.
Have a blessed day.

Welcome back to today's lesson.
English service
If you do not hear the voice of God, then you will hear the voice of another deceptive thing called the devil.
The voice of God is to lead you to life but the voice of the devil will lead you to hell.
The question is, whose voice do you want to hear? My house and I will always listen to the voice of God.
Today's lesson.
Matthew 21: 12-15
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. He said to them, "It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers."
Jesus did not demolish the building, but had to enter into our hearts and cleanse it, and remove the evil thoughts so that we would be pure in glorifying God, that temple governs our hearts, the Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19 that our bodies are the temple of God. Human beings, we turn our hearts to the dominion of the devil, we do not know about God, we have become thieves, thieves, we do shameful business, we do not care about the poor of God. Those people were exchanging money, selling money, and this business is still in the churches today, deautoronomy 23: 19-20
You shall not lend on interest to your brother; interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything borrowed at interest; why is all this happening? Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. People love money and forget God. Wickedness abounds, Jeremiah 9: 4-6, everyone is a deceiver, a man speaks well of his neighbor but in his heart he sets a trap for him, do not trust even your brother.
Yet God says, Joel 2:12. return to me with all your heart. Beloved, this is when Jesus wants to cleanse your heart so that this day spoken of by the prophet Joel in Joel 2, you will be saved, otherwise, destruction will come. The day of weeping is coming, the day of terror is near, turn to God in repentance.
Isaiah 24: 1-4.

Brethren, it is another blessed moment I want to thang God for keeping you save up to now, we are celebrating the birthday of our savior Jesus Christ, and may he find space in your heart so that finally he can be born in you. I want to welcome all of you again for continuation of our church teaching; our aim is to make you know God and find the way to eternal life through Jesus Christ. I am evangelist Michael Ochomo, Rain of God Church.
Let’s talk about faith in Christ Jesus.
Faith is when you have a complete trust or confidence in someone or something. And here we want to see the importance of having faith in Jesus Christ. First, to be a Christian, you need to believe that Jesus Christ is son of God and that he died on the cross, for our sins and resurrected for us to have eternal life.
Apostle Paul says in Hebrews 11:1: …Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Jesus said in john 14:13 that “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. And James says in James 1:6 "But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." So first of all, you need to have faith or believe that God will grant your request that is faith in Christ. For you to have faith, you must first hear the word of God as Apostle Paul is saying in Romans 10:17: faith comes by hearing the word of God. This is why the church is bringing the word of God to you all the times, so that after hearing the word of God, you now believe in him, and by believing in him, you are saved. There are many reason why we should have faith, but just brevelly, when we have faith, we pleases God. For our prayers to be ansured, we need faith (mark 11:22-24) we need to have faith to receive our promises (romans 4:16) we need faith for our sins to be forgiven (mark 2:5). Let us all have faith in God through Jesus Christ that the year 2021 will be favorable to us but all in all, we will overcome any challenges that comes with it. May God be with you, the church is praying for you, and all the saints here with me, are celebrating you for having faith in God.
Mary Christmas and happy New Year 2021. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen

Nikusalimu tena kwa jina la yesu Kristo, leo k**a siku zingine za mwenyezi Mungu, nakukaribisha ili tushiriki pamoja kwa neno la Mungu, kanisa la Rain of God lazidi kukuombea Mungu awe nawe popote uendapo na chochote ufanyacho.

When we talk of prayer, you understand that we are talking to almighty God, or someone is asking favor from heavenly Father either concerning a problem or just thanks giving. But talking of prayer and fasting, that means we have gone extra farther in what we are praying for. It mighty be that God is not answering the prayer or the problem has increased.
So people go to fast, but not all can fast for one reason. We all have different needs that we fast for, some concerning health, others family matters, others business intervention, and many more, all this are human desires, but what is God's desire in our fasting? When fasting, we all look back in 2chronicles 7:14, where God called us back to him, to humble before him and seek his face. In the bible we see people fasting for different reasons, like David wanted to see God's face, so he fasted. (Psalms 42:1-3) and (Psalms 63:1-11) Daniel fasted for an understanding, (Daniel 10:12 & 14) in mark 9:29, jesus showed us that unless we pray and fast, we can't drive out such demons, but God has something he wants from us more than fasting, is to do what pleases others and him.

Isaiah 58:6-10.
So in isaiah 58, shows us that even if we fast but still opress the needy, we don't care for others, we don't extent out our hand to the poor for their help, that kind of fasting is nothing to him according to isaiah 58:1-5.
From today let's learn the meaning of fasting and do so and God will hear our prayer and heal our land.
"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
(Isaiah 58:8)
May God be with you.

Being God’s friend.
This is what I want to talk about today; I take this time to thank you for being there, May God be with you. Welcome again to our church service that is ongoing weekly, in Rain of God Church, a part from teaching God’s word, we praise him by singing praise and worship, talking to him through prayer in Jesus name and also counseling, we are here to teach you about God. We are situated at mukuru kwa-njenga slum, opposite Embakasi Girls Scondary School. I am evangelist Michael ochomo.

To be God’s friend, you must be ready always to walk in his ways and follow his commandments; you can’t please God if you sin. A friend is someone who is always there for you in time of need, and no other friend who is there for you than God. For God to call you his friend, you must hear his voice, and if you don’t, he will cut off his friendship with you, so we must listen to his voice. Adam was the first human to become a friend of God, he used to do what God told him to do, and indeed he became God’s friend, but when he listened to another voice (Genesis 3) he sinned and annoyed God, so he was to face the consequences by being chased away from God’s presence. You may be a good servant of God but if you sin, now to be God’s friend, you must have faith in him, you must believe in him, (James 2:23) and the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. Abraham became a friend of God because he believed in him, you must have trust in God, that if you ask, God will answer you. This trust, this faithfulness, this believe, are what today’s generation is lucking, we ask God but we don’t trust that he will give to us; Abraham believed that God will fulfill his promise and he did. If you believe in God and have patience in you, God will do it, ISAIAH 41:8, God is still calling Abraham, ‘”his friend”, why? Because of his faith fullness in him. He told Abraham, kill your son Isaac for me, (Genesis 22) God saw Abraham as a real faith full person to him, and he made him his friend, the faith Abraham had in God, you also can have it, and God will make you his friend. If you become a friend with God, His favor will follow you. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says “but the lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.”
Become Gods friend today. lets meet in church for more teaching,
may the grace of our lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the holly spirit be with you. amen.
