Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST, has called on Christian ministers to remain deeply connected to God in order to effectively navigate the demands of ministry and sustain impactful Kingdom service.
The charge was delivered during a pastoral meeting held at the Tassia Family Chapel in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday, May 9, 2026, as part of the commencement of the Chairman’s mission visit to East Africa.
Apostle Nyamekye was accompanied by the Missions Director of the Church, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe. The engagement, brought together ministers and their spouses from across Kenya.
Addressing the pastorate, Apostle Nyamekye emphasised that God remains the all-sufficient source of power for every minister, particularly in an era marked by increasing spiritual, social, and ministerial challenges.
He encouraged church leaders to cultivate a stronger relationship with God through prayer, devotion, and unwavering dependence on the Holy Spirit.
According to him, sustained intimacy with God is essential for effective Christian leadership, spiritual growth, and the successful advancement of God’s Kingdom on earth.
The meeting formed part of broader ministerial engagements scheduled during the Chairman’s East African mission visit, aimed at strengthening the Church’s missionary work, encouraging ministers, and deepening spiritual renewal within the region.
