Luke 7:7 (NKJV). SAY THE WORD ONLY
Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the Word, and my servant will be healed.

The centurion had faith in the power of the Word of Jesus. Jesus even marveled at this Gentile who believed for healing for his servant through the Word of God. God wants us to have this same kind of faith: a faith that will trust Him for what His Word states. As we saw yesterday, the Word of God is living and powerful, and when we say, "Father, I believe You because your Word declares it!" that faith moves mountains and removes things that have tried to harm us. Let God be true and every man a liar! God is truth, so His Word is truth. God cannot lie, so His Word cannot lie. As we find the truth (which is His Word) and speak it out in faith, look out! Mountains are coming down! Many times, though, people do not see the situation change immediately, and they start to lose heart. Do not give up! The mountain will move, or will change, when you do not let go of the promise that God, your Heavenly Father, has given you through His Word. So take some time today to find His Word on the matter that is coming against you, speak it, and then praise Him until the answer comes. If you need healing for your body or a loved one's body, go to the treasure of the Scripture and pull out a gem, and watch the sickness disappear. If you are in need of a financial breakthrough, go to the Bible and find out what God says on the subject, and then release the answer through your mouth. This goes for any area of your life. If you need peace, joy, contentment, friends, a mate, or a better lifestyle, whatever it is, as long as it is in the will of God (and we know that the will of God is His Word) then believe Him, speak His Word, give the seed time to mature, and watch it come to pass! Mark 11:23 (NKJV). SPEAK TO YOUR MOUNTAIN
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be removed and be cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

There are times in our lives when situations will not change until we speak to them. We cannot just speak anything; we need to speak the Word of God. You see, it is God's Word that has power in it to change things. God's Word has the breath of God within it. His Word is alive! It is living and powerful. In Hebrews 4:12 it says, "For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Think about that today. God's Word is living, powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword. When we lift up God's Word and speak it through our lips in faith, mountains have to move, devils have to move, and situations that have come against us have to move. Speaking God's Word, not our little cute sayings, allows God to get involved in our lives and in the things that are coming against us. As it said in Hebrews 4:12, God's Word is alive! Just like we are alive, His Word is alive. His Word has His very DNA in it. Wow! I have read many books in my life, and some of them I have read a couple of times, but God's Word, the Holy Scriptures, is what I feed myself with daily. When I open the Bible and start chewing on a verse, and then it speaks to my heart, I need to speak it out loud and let faith rise big within me. The devil has no chance against a person that gets the Word deep within them, and then lets the water flow from them to the situations of life. So today, speak His Word to your mountain! Romans 1:16 (NKJV). THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

What would we do without the Gospel? It is through the Gospel that we receive eternal life. The Gospel is God's power to us in our lives. The word "salvation" means deliverance, safety, preservation, healing, and soundness. In this Gospel of salvation, there is not only forgiveness of sins, but there is safety, healing, soundness of mind, life, and the promise that God preserves us unto good things. What an amazing Father we have Who has given us so much! As we learn His Word and His ways, we see all the good that He has set in order for us to live the victorious life in Christ Jesus. God could have so easily said, "I have provided salvation through Jesus so you will live for eternity," but He gave us that, plus all things that we would need to live a blessed life here on the earth! God made us with three parts and has provided salvation to each of those parts. He made us spirit, soul, and body, and He has made provision in His Word to enjoy the fullness for each part. When life, and the devil, attacks us with sickness, God has given us His Word to bring healing to these earthly bodies. When fear comes against us, He has made provision for it to be cast out from us. His love for us is so amazing that no matter what comes against us, spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, or financially, He has made a way for us to be more than a conqueror over it! So today, make a decision to find out all that the power of the Gospel has for you, and then live it out for His honor and glory. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. If God wants us to have all of His fullness, I, for one, want to go for it! I, for one, want to live it out here on earth, and then live with Him for all eternity. How about you? Hebrews 4:12 (NLTSE). THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE
For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

God's Word is alive! It has God's very life and ability within it. Just as people are alive, and animals are alive, and plants are alive, so God's Word is alive. The difference is that God's Word has the Creator of all these other things within it. It is full of power to set us free, to heal us, and to deliver us. His Word created the very ground that we are standing on, and the air that we are breathing. His Word is Himself. So, no matter what comes at us in life, it is His Word that has the power to release us from every situation. If God has declared it, then it has to happen. You see, God and His Word are one. If God's Word does not work, then God does not work. But God's Word does work, as we work the Word. Faith is what activates God's Word, and as we take His Word and get it deep within our hearts, and then speak it with our mouths, it will come to pass. God is not a man that He should lie. If He said it, then He meant it. Think of it like this: The Bible has the very DNA of God within its pages. It is just like if I blow up a balloon, it has my DNA within it. So it is with the Bible. God has breathed Himself right into those pages that we hold in our hands. So today, make a decision never to look at the Bible as just a book, but look at it as if it were God the Creator standing right there and saying, "If I wrote it in there, you can have it! Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV). GOD'S WORD IS NEVER EMPTY
For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

When God's Word is released in our hearts, it has to produce. His Word never returns to Him void, but it always does what it is sent out to do. If His Word is sent out in faith for salvation, look out! That person that you are praying for is going to have an encounter with God. If His Word is sent out in faith for healing, then healing will manifest itself! You might say, "How can you be so sure?" Because it is God's very Word, and His Word is His bond! God is not a man that He should lie. He gave us His Word so we can have assurance in our life. Too many times, we lose heart when we do not see results immediately. We live in this microwave society, but the things of the kingdom work like a crock-pot(slow cookers): slow and steady. We need to let the seed of His Word work within our heart. Give it time to grow to maturity. Sometimes we are so quick to want to see the fruit, but just like a tree in the natural, it takes time for the seed to get into the soil and produce its harvest. So do not rush the process. Let God's Word do the work that it was sent out to do. Keep the seed in the ground, give it water daily, and make sure it gets plenty of Sonshine. Then watch it grow, grow, grow! Remember that this verse said it will not return void, but it will accomplish what it has been sent to do. That is God's Word, and He will do it!
