The River That Gives Life
Going Deeper with the Holy Spirit
10th Feb 2026
Ezekiel 47:1
A Vision of Ezekiel
Water flowing from the temple to the east.
In the east there is the Dead Sea.
Jesus Christ will come and revive the Dead Sea, and there will be a temple.
(Note: 3rd temple will be built in Jerusalem – Antichrist will be worshipped there, but Jesus will destroy it.)
Points
1. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost, not a tomb.
(Matthew 23:27, 1 Corinthians 6:19)
Christians are called temples of the Holy Spirit.
Our bodies are the temple.
Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and called them white-washed tombs.
Differences
Tomb
Holds something that used to be alive.
Religious people that remember times when they loved God more than they love Him today.
Memories are bigger than dreams.
Live life always looking back at the “good old days,” with no good days in the future.
Temple
Holds someone who is alive (God).
Tombs are dead inside.
Beauty is confirmed by worldly things → Tombs.
Water does not flow from tombs; snakes come from them.
Water flows from the temple.
Your spiritual year begins now. God is in control of everything.
God will bless those who hunger for Him.
Yesterday’s manna cannot feed you today.
You cannot serve God on yesterday’s experiences.
You need a fresh word from God, burning on God regularly.
Yesterday’s fire is full of ashes.
You should be filled with fire, not ashes.
Burn for Jesus.
God Wants to Give Today
New victory today
New mercies today
New breakthrough today
New revival today
New fire today
Example: Abraham
Abraham did not live on yesterday’s word.
If he did, he would have killed his son.
He did not say, “I heard God yesterday.”
He heard God every day
