We celebrate a life of our GBC First Deacon Charles Joel Wanyonyi, Baba, Kuka, Mzee, Intercessor, Prophet, Mkristo wa MSIMAMO, SENIOR. His life was a beautiful testimony of faith, prayer, humility, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the work of the Lord.

He served the church with love, led by example, and touched countless lives through his kindness, wisdom, and steadfast devotion to Christ. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, the impact of his life and ministry will continue to live on in our hearts.

We thank God for the privilege of having walked alongside him and for the legacy he leaves behind. As we mourn his passing, we rejoice in the hope we have in Christ, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Rest in glory, our dear Senior Deacon. Your labor in the Lord was not in vain, and your memory will forever remain a blessing. We will miss you.
