๐ŸŒŸ OUR THANKSGIVING SERVICE ๐ŸŒŸ

What a beautiful Thanksgiving Service we had! ๐Ÿ™Œ

It was a time of heartfelt testimonies shared from our Faith for Expansion journey, rejoicing together in Godโ€™s faithfulness, and also celebrating and giving thanks to God for all our mothers. โค๏ธ

We were greatly blessed by a timely message from Pastor Mary Osiemo titled:

TRUSTING AND BELIEVING IN GOD

๐Ÿ“– Proverbs 3:5โ€“7

Trusting in the Lord is surrendering control of your life to a higher and most reliable power; accepting that your wisdom and strength is limited.

โ€ข Donโ€™t put your trust in man.
โ€ข Donโ€™t put your trust in your own strength, wisdom, and understanding.
โ€ข Donโ€™t put your trust in the things or wealth God has given you.

We must trust in the Lord at all times no matter the circumstances.
๐Ÿ“– Psalm 62:8

๐Ÿ’ก What Happens When We Trust in the Lord
๐Ÿ“– 2 Kings 18:1โ€“8

Learning from Hezekiah, who trusted in the Lord and prospered:

1๏ธโƒฃ God makes us outstanding โ€” extraordinary, exemplary, and better than our peers. (v.5)

2๏ธโƒฃ The Lord will be with you. (v.7)
You will always have heavenly backup.

3๏ธโƒฃ The Lord will prosper you wherever you go and in whatever you do. (v.7)

4๏ธโƒฃ We will subdue our enemies.
๐Ÿ“– 2 Kings 18:8; Deuteronomy 28:7

๐Ÿ™Thanksgiving reminds us that God has been faithful through every season. As we continue trusting and believing in Him, we know that the same God who has brought us this far will continue to guide, prosper, and strengthen us. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

๐ŸŒŸ GLORY BE TO GOD! ๐ŸŒŸ

Last Sunday we celebrated the accomplishment of our FAITH FOR EXPANSION PROJECT. This has been a two years journey that we have walked towards purchasing part of our church land.

It was a moment of heartfelt gratitude to Godโ€ฆ tears flowed, and people danced with joy as we celebrated His faithfulness.

The celebration was crowned with a timely message by Rev. Joshua Osiemo titled:

THE GRACE OF GIVING
๐Ÿ“– 2 Corinthians 8:1โ€“12

The Christian life is full of paradoxes โ€” things that may not make sense naturally, yet are spiritually true.

The Bible is full of such examples:
David defeating Goliath, Gideon called mighty while in hiding, Abraham called father of nations while childless โ€” and many more.

The Macedonian church demonstrated extraordinary generosity even in great affliction and poverty.

๐Ÿ’ก What We Learn:
1๏ธโƒฃ Giving is a grace (v.1).
2๏ธโƒฃ Giving is not dependent on circumstances but on the condition of oneโ€™s spirit (v.2).
3๏ธโƒฃ True generosity is not measured by the size of the gift but by the spirit of the giver.
4๏ธโƒฃ In giving, God looks at the heart, not natural ability or outward appearance (vv.3โ€“4).
5๏ธโƒฃ Give yourself to the Lord first (v.5).
6๏ธโƒฃ Grow and abound in giving just like in other areas (v.7).
7๏ธโƒฃ Jesus Himself is the highest standard of giving (v.9).
8๏ธโƒฃ Giving is accepted according to what one has (v.12).
9๏ธโƒฃ Be a river, not a reservoir โ€” let Godโ€™s grace flow through you to others.

๐Ÿ™ What has been accomplished is a testimony that when hearts are yielded to God and His grace is at work, nothing is impossible.

This journey has proven that sacrificial giving, unity, and obedience release divine provision.

As we move forward, may this same grace continue to flow โ€” touching lives, expanding impact, and bringing glory to God. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

๐ŸŒŸ SUNDAY RECAP | BEING VIGILANT ๐ŸŒŸ

We were blessed by a timely and practical message from Sister Bernice Blastus during our Sunday service, based on:

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 26:41 | 1 Peter 5:8

Biblically, vigilance is the discipline of staying awake in a world full of distractions.
Spiritual sleep opens the door to danger โ€” therefore, we must remain alert and watchful at all times.

๐Ÿ’ก What Must We Be Vigilant About?
1๏ธโƒฃ Our thoughts
๐Ÿ“– 2 Corinthians 10:4โ€“5
2๏ธโƒฃ Our hearts
๐Ÿ“– Proverbs 4:23
3๏ธโƒฃ Our time and priorities
๐Ÿ“– Ephesians 5:15

โ— Why Must We Be Vigilant?
1๏ธโƒฃ Because there is a real enemy
๐Ÿ“– 1 Peter 5:8; John 13:2
2๏ธโƒฃ Because temptation is constant
Even Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, and David also fell into temptation.

๐Ÿ›ก How Do We Stay Spiritually Vigilant?
1๏ธโƒฃ Through prayer
๐Ÿ“– Matthew 26:41
2๏ธโƒฃ Reading the Word of God
๐Ÿ“– Psalm 119:105
3๏ธโƒฃ Discipline and self-control
๐Ÿ“– 1 Corinthians 9:27
4๏ธโƒฃ Fellowship
๐Ÿ“– Hebrews 10:25

๐Ÿ™ As we continue waiting on the Lord, vigilance is key.
Stay alert in prayer, grounded in the Word, and connected in fellowship โ€” for in watchfulness, we are strengthened and preserved. ๐Ÿ™โœจ

After the 2nd Service, we witnessed 16 of our members take a bold step of faith through water baptism โ€” what a beautiful and powerful moment of transformation, obedience, and public declaration of their walk with Christ! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ง

๐ŸŒŸ WAIT ON THE LORD ๐ŸŒŸ

A powerful and encouraging message was shared by Rev. Joshua Osiemo based on:

๐Ÿ“– Luke 1:5โ€“25

Zacharias and Elizabeth were upright before God, faithfully observing His commandments. They came from a priestly lineage, yet they had no child โ€” Elizabeth was barren and both were advanced in age. Still, Zacharias continued to serve the Lord faithfully.

Their story reminds us that even the faithful can face real needs and delays โ€” but God is always at work.

๐Ÿ’ก What We Learn:
1๏ธโƒฃ Godly people have needs and conditions (v.7).

We must wait on the Lord through prayer, fasting, worship, and service.

2๏ธโƒฃ Serve the Lord despite your condition (v.8).

As we wait on the Lord, we wait in service.
Service to the Lord unlocks destinies.

๐Ÿ“– Exodus 23:25โ€“26; Deuteronomy 28:47

3๏ธโƒฃ God answers prayer at His appointed time (vv.11โ€“19).

Serve Him faithfully at all times โ€” your blessing will come with joy and gladness.

๐Ÿ™Stand firm in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship.

Your waiting season is not wasted โ€” God is preparing a testimony that will bring joy and fulfillment. ๐Ÿ™โœจ
