πŸ”₯ JESUS REVIVAL & EMPOWERMENT MEETING – NANDI HILLS πŸ”₯

On Saturday, 8th August 2026, members of The Blessed City Family visited Deliverance Church Int'l – Nandi Hills for the Jesus Revival & Empowerment Meeting.

Our Pastor, Rev. Joshua Osiemo, was among the speakers at the conference hosted by Pastor Cosmas Kerongo.

It was a great time of worship, powerful teaching, prayer, fellowship, and spiritual empowerment as believers gathered to seek God and be equipped for Kingdom impact.

Later in the afternoon, participants gathered in their respective groups β€” men, women, youth, and Sunday School children β€” for meaningful sharing, discussion, and interaction tailored to each group.

We thank God for the opportunity to fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Nandi Hills. πŸ™πŸ”₯

🌟 SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP 🌟

We were blessed by a powerful and timely message from Bro. John Maina titled:

REMAIN IN GOD'S PRESENCE

πŸ“– Exodus 33:1–23

The presence you carry and walk in can determine the direction of your life and your destiny. There are different kinds of presence, and we need spiritual discernment to recognise what we are carrying and what we are walking in.

In our passage today, God's presence speaks of being in a place of divine fellowship, guidance, and encounter.

πŸ’‘ How Do We Remain in God's Presence?

1️⃣ Hear His voice first. (v.1)
Many different voices speak and minister to us. We must have the spirit of discernment to recognise God's voice and distinguish it from every other voice.

2️⃣ Obey His commandments.
After hearing God's voice, we must make a decision: will we obey or disobey? God's presence calls us to a life of obedience.

3️⃣ Depart with your all.
Worship and serve the Lord with all your heart, regardless of circumstances or opposition. Anything we refuse to surrender to God can become an idol before Him.

4️⃣ Be an intercessor. (v.16)
Moses carried the spirit of standing in the gap. We too are called to intercede for our families, the Church, our communities, and our nation.

✨ The Benefit of God's Presence

One of the blessings of walking in God's presence is divine intervention. God promised to send His angel ahead of His people to clear the way. (v.2)

When God's presence goes before you, obstacles must give way. Every demonic situation standing against God's purpose in your life must depart.

πŸ™ The greatest blessing is not what God can give us, but God Himself and His presence with us. May we desire His presence above everything else, hear His voice, obey His Word, serve Him wholeheartedly, and stand in the gap for others.

🌟 SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP 🌟

We were richly blessed by a thought-provoking message from Rev. Joshua Osiemo titled:

WHAT ARE YOU NUMBERING?

πŸ“– 2 Samuel 24:1–16

David shifted his confidence from God to the strength of his military by numbering the fighting men of Israel. This account reminds us that our trust must never be in our achievements, abilities, or resources, but always in the Lord.

πŸ’‘ We Learn:

1️⃣ Always desire to be at the centre of God's will.

Don't be carried away by emotions or self-confidence. Resist pride, exercise humility, and seek God's will in every decision.

2️⃣ Don't ignore godly advice. (vv.2–4)

David ignored Joab's counsel. When a person's heart is lifted with pride, they often disregard godly wisdom. Remain teachable and value wise counsel.

3️⃣ Always pay attention to your heart. (v.10)

After numbering the people, David's heart convicted him.

Your heart is both an altar and a teacher. Guard it diligently.
πŸ“– Proverbs 4:23; Psalm 16:7

4️⃣ Acknowledge your sin. (v.10b)

David confessed his sin before the Lord.

Repentance opens the door to God's mercy and restoration.

5️⃣ The Word of God comes to us again and again. (vv.11–13)

God lovingly continued to speak to David through the prophet Gad.

Whenever God's Word comes to usβ€”whether through Scripture, preaching, or godly counselβ€”let us respond with obedience and a surrendered heart rather than resisting His correction.

6️⃣ Let us fall into the hand of the Lord. (vv.14–16)

David chose to place himself in God's hands because of His great mercy.

In times of distress, uncertainty, and difficult decisions, let us choose to trust the mercy and faithfulness of God.

7️⃣ Always remember the Lord.
πŸ“– Deuteronomy 8:10–20

Never allow success, achievements, or blessings to lift your heart in pride. Always remember that it is God who gives the power to succeed.

πŸ™ Instead of numbering our achievements, victories, possessions, or abilities, let us number the faithfulness, mercy, and goodness of God. When our confidence remains in Him, He keeps our hearts humble, our steps secure, and our lives aligned with His perfect will.πŸ™
