missionaries at Mulunguni are actively using cattle for agricultural labor, mainly for digging, tilling, and preparing the soil for planting. This traditional and practical method helps them cultivate their farm efficiently while reducing costs and physical strain.

By using trained oxen to pull plows, the land is broken and turned in readiness for planting. The cattle make it possible to prepare larger portions of land in a shorter time compared to manual digging. In addition, the animals help in transporting farm inputs such as manure, seeds, and tools around the farm.

This approach promotes sustainable agriculture, improves soil productivity, and supports food security for the mission. It also demonstrates wise use of available local resources, encouraging self-reliance and stewardship of the land.

The work at Mulunguni is a powerful example of dedication, teamwork, and sustainable farming in action.

EMPOWERING KIPKAREN WOMEN THROUGH SEWING MINISTRY

Today marks a powerful step forward for the Kipkaren Women Sewing Ministry as we officially hand over sewing machines to our women so they can go out, start businesses, and support their families with dignity.

This initiative is about more than machines it’s about empowerment, self-reliance, and transformation. Through sewing skills, these women are being equipped to create income, grow in confidence, and become agents of change in their homes and the wider community.

We celebrate the commitment, hard work, and vision of the Kipkaren women who are ready to turn skills into sustainable livelihoods. Our prayer is that these sewing machines will open doors to opportunity, restore hope, and inspire many others.

🙏 We thank God for this milestone and everyone who made it possible.
Together, we are stitching a future of purpose, dignity, and economic freedom.

TRANSFORMED BY THE GOSPEL – TESTIMONIES FROM MUPE MISSIONARIES ACROSS KENYA

From different parts of Kenya, MUPE missionaries are giving powerful testimonies of how the Gospel of Jesus Christ is changing lives, families, and entire communities. In places once marked by hopelessness and spiritual darkness, the light of Christ is now shining brightly.

Missionaries testify that through prayer, discipleship, and consistent Gospel outreach, many people have experienced true transformation. Individuals who were once bound by fear, sin, and brokenness have found freedom and new life in Christ. Homes that were filled with conflict are now witnessing peace, love, and unity.

In many communities, the Gospel has restored dignity and purpose. Parents testify of renewed hope for their families, while young people share how accepting Christ has given them direction and a reason to live. Children are now growing up hearing the Word of God and learning values rooted in faith and love.

MUPE missionaries also testify that the Gospel has strengthened believers to stand firm despite challenges. People who once relied on fear and traditions now boldly confess their faith and gather together for prayer and fellowship. The Word of God is taking root, and faith is growing day by day.

One testimony is repeated everywhere: the Gospel works. Lives are being changed, hearts are being healed, and communities are being transformed not by human power, but by the grace of God.

As MUPE continues to reach the unreached and serve faithfully, these testimonies stand as a reminder that God is still moving mightily across Kenya.

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” – Romans 10:17

Our hearts were deeply touched as we arrived in Mulunguni, Kwale County, where we were received with overwhelming love by these precious women. From the very first moment, the air was filled with joy, ululations, warm smiles, and open arms an unforgettable expression of unity and sisterhood.

Their warmth spoke louder than words, reflecting gratitude, hope, and a shared purpose. Every greeting carried encouragement; every song echoed faith and resilience.

This welcome was more than a reception it was a celebration of partnership and a sign of what God is doing through faithful women who stand together. We are grateful for the love shown, the stories shared, and the bonds formed during this mission trip. Mulunguni will forever remain in our hearts as a place where love lives and community shines.

Thank you, precious women of Mulunguni. Your welcome has strengthened our spirits and inspired our journey.

In the quiet village of Mulunguni, Kwale County, the early morning air was filled with rhythm not of drums, but of mortar and pestle striking in perfect harmony. It was one of those moments where culture speaks louder than words, and tradition becomes a living classroom.

Under the warm coastal sun, women gathered together, their laughter blending with the steady thud… thud… thud of maize being pounded the traditional way. This was not just about preparing food; it was about preserving identity, sharing strength, and passing wisdom from one generation to the next.

Standing among them was Janet Kosgei, not as a visitor watching from the side, but as a sister fully involved in the work. With a mortar before her and a pestle in her hands, she joined the women sweat, smiles, and all showing humility, unity, and respect for the people and their culture. Her presence reminded everyone that leadership is best expressed through participation, not position.

As the maize was pounded, stories flowed freely stories of motherhood, resilience, faith, and survival. Each strike of the pestle echoed the hard work these women face daily, yet also their unbreakable spirit. In that circle, there was no rush, no modern machinery only teamwork, patience, and a deep connection to the land.

For the women of Mulunguni, pounding maize together is more than a chore; it is a symbol of togetherness, a time to bond, teach, and encourage one another. And for Janet Kosgei, it was a powerful reminder that true mission and empowerment begin by walking alongside the people, embracing their ways, and honoring their stories.

That day in Mulunguni will be remembered not for the maize that was prepared, but for the unity that was strengthened, the culture that was celebrated, and the message that development and dignity can grow hand in hand when we value our roots.

Culture. Community. Togetherness.

In the quiet and beautiful village of Mwaluphamba, Kwale County, hope walked in with humility and love as MUPE Director, Janet Kosgei, paid a heartfelt visit to the missionaries serving in this remote area.

The journey was not just a physical one, but a mission of encouragement, solidarity, and faith. Upon arrival, Director Janet witnessed firsthand the dedication of the missionaries who, despite limited resources, continue to serve the community with unwavering commitment. With simple tools and bulls used for digging and preparing the farm, these servants of God are laying foundations not only for food security but also for sustainable ministry.

As the bulls slowly tilled the land, the scene spoke volumes of resilience, perseverance, and faith in action. This was more than farming; it was a testimony that ministry goes beyond the pulpit. It reaches the soil, the sweat, and the daily struggles of the people.

Director Janet Kosgei took time to interact with the missionaries, listen to their stories, pray with them, and encourage them to remain steadfast. Her presence brought renewed strength and reminded them that they are seen, supported, and valued.

This visit reaffirmed MUPE’s commitment to reaching the unreached, supporting missionaries in remote areas, and empowering communities through practical solutions and the love of Christ.

Indeed, in Mwaluphamba, seeds were planted not only in the ground, but in hearts.
