GIVE THEM TIME

Romans 14:1 – “Welcome those who are weak in faith, but do not argue with them about their personal opinions."

This verse shows God’s heart toward people who are still growing. He knows not everyone is at the same level in faith. Some are strong, some are weak, and some are just starting. God is not asking us to argue with them or correct them harshly—He is asking us to accept them with love.

It is a natural law that everything starts small before it becomes big. A baby doesn’t run on the first day. A seed doesn’t become a tree in one night. Everything needs time to grow.

It is the same with people. In life, we all need time to grow—in marriage, in ministry, in business, and in faith. When you start something new or enter a new season, you will make mistakes. That doesn’t mean you are not called or that you don’t belong. It simply means you need time.

God knows that growth takes time. That’s why He teaches us not to judge people too quickly. Romans 14:1 is God’s reminder that even when someone is weak in faith or doesn’t understand things the way we do, we should still receive them. God is patient with them—we should be too.

This is also a leadership skill—learning to be patient with people’s growth. In church, at work, and in our homes, we often want people to be like us right away. But God is asking us to be patient. Give your spouse time to grow in love and understanding. Give your worker time to learn their job. Give the new believer time to grow in faith.

The truth is, with time, love, and patience, people grow.

DECIDE TO CHANGE

Hebrews 11:24 – “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter."

This verse shows us something powerful: Moses made a decision to change. He had every reason to stay in the palace and enjoy the easy life of Egypt. But by faith, he chose a different path. He made a decision that changed his future and the future of a whole nation.

In the same way, everyone on earth has a chance to change. It doesn’t matter how you were born or the kind of family you come from. Maybe your life now is the way it is because of your background, or maybe your family is under a curse. But the truth is this: God has given you a chance to change.

Hebrews 11:24 says, “By faith…” That means there was no physical proof that Moses would be great. His decision was not based on what he could see. His faith pushed him to act. You also need faith to say no to the life you’re living now if it’s not helping you.

You can say no to poverty and start working hard. You can say no to bad habits and begin living differently. You can say no to the spiritual dryness in your life. You can say, “I don’t want to remain this way.” If you are not happy with how you are today, you can decide to change.

Just like Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, you too can refuse to be who the devil wants you to be. Refuse to stay in sin. Refuse to stay in fear. Refuse to live a useless life. Choose to believe, and God will change you and use you.

NOW FAITH

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 NKJV

Faith is not just a dream or a wish. It is something real. Faith is the proof that what God has promised already exists, even if we can’t see it yet.

Before sin entered the world, Adam didn’t need faith. He lived in God’s presence all the time. Everything was available to him right away. But after the fall, people were separated from God and began living under lack and scarcity. We now hope for things in the future. That’s why the Bible says faith gives us those things now—even before we see them with our eyes.

Faith is not a feeling. It’s not just hoping something will happen. Faith is a tool God gives us to receive His promises. Jesus often talked about people’s faith. Luke 5:20 says "And when he saw their faith" This means faith can be seen. It can grow. Even if it’s as small as a mustard seed, it can still move mountains.

The Bible says in Ephesians 1 that God has already blessed us with everything we need in the spiritual world—peace, healing, help, and wisdom. These things are real, but they are in the unseen world. Faith brings them into our lives. Think of faith like a “download button”—it pulls God’s blessings from heaven into your life on earth.

Faith always works in the present. It doesn’t say, “One day I’ll get it.” It says, “I have it now.” In the Heavenly realm, everything is already done. When we believe like that, we begin to live like God—above time, above fear, and above delay.

The woman with the issue of blood when she heard about the healing power of Jesus. She said in her heart if I only touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed. She went and touched the garment of Jesus and she was healed. That’s what happens when faith takes hold of what God has already promised.

So whatever God has said—whether it’s healing, peace, or direction—you don’t have to wait. You can receive it now. Say it. Believe it. Act like it’s already true
