Welcome to our devotion

Morning Prayer

Psalm 5
[3]In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.

Reflection
There is something sacred about the morning. Before we begin our daily commitments, the mornings presents a moment of calm and joy — a divine appointment with our God

Morning prayer isn’t just about asking for things. It’s about:
✓Surrendering your day to God.
✓Committing your decisions to Him.
✓ Receiving fresh strength from His presence......

When you give God the first part of your day, you're inviting Him to take over the rest.
Lamentations 3:22-23
His mercies are new every morning…

If you want to change your life, change your mornings.
Make it your daily habit to seek God before anything or anyone else.
✅ Before social media — seek God.
✅ Before your to-do list — seek God.
✅ Before the worries — seek God.

Prayer
Lord, thank You for this new day. Thank You for the gift of life and good health. Help us to walk closely with You today. Fill us with wisdom, peace, and strength. May our words, thoughts, and actions reflect You.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

Welcome to our devotion

God's time is the best, keep waiting

Isaiah 60:22
[22]The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Reflection
* The phrase, “In its time, I will do this swiftly,” points to the importance of waiting on God. Sometimes, it may seem like nothing is happening, but God works behind the scenes. When the right time comes, His actions are quick and undeniable.
_Consider Abraham and Sarah, who waited decades for God’s promise of a son to be fulfilled. Ultimately, Isaac was born at the perfect time (Genesis 21:2)._

The passage reminds us that no matter how small or insignificant we feel, God can use us to accomplish great things. The Bible is filled with examples of how God used seemingly unimportant individuals to fulfill His purposes. For instance:
1. *David* was a shepherd boy before he became king (1 Samuel 16:11-13).
2. *Gideon* saw himself as the least in his family, yet God used him to deliver Israel (Judges 6:15).
3. *Joseph* (betrayed) and from the pit, to the prison and then to the palace, finally God used him to deliver his family at the time of famine (Genesis 37-50)

*Isaiah 60 vs 22* is more than just a verse about waiting; it’s a declaration of hope. Trust that God can take what feels small and make it extraordinary.

Prayer
Dear God, as we seek Your counsel this moment, Isaiah brings it out clearly to us that, Your plans are always worth the wait. When the time is right, may Your blessings come swiftly and transform our lives for better.

In Jesus name

Amen
Blessed weekend

Welcome to our devotion

We have all the reasons to praise God

Psalm 103
[1]Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
[2]Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—

Reflection
David understood that true worship was something deeply inward, of the soul. It is not just about outward forms or expressions, but also about something real deeper from the soul.

He was giving thanks to God for the personal blessings.
1. He had forgiven all his iniquities.
2. He had healed him from all his diseases.
3. He had redeemed his life from destruction.
4. He had crowned him with loving kindness and tender mercies.
5. He had satisfied his mouth with good things.
6. He had renewed his strength as an eagle.

Indeed God is very faithful and that is a cause for thanksgiving to everyone. Even "If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself" (2 Tim. 2:13). His mercies are new every morning and great is His Faithfulness.

Prayer
Mighty Father, we are grateful for the gift of life today, many are the blessings bestowed upon us indeed more than we can count, we have all the reason to praise You our Lord. May our souls rejoice in You forever and ever

In Jesus' name

Amen

Welcome to our morning devotion

God, our only hope and refuge

Psalms 91
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the LORD your refuge, the Most High your dwelling place,

*Note* - The primary theme of Psalm 91 is God’s protection over those who trust in Him. It speaks of deliverance from various dangers, including deadly diseases, violence, and other calamities.

*Reflection*
- It’s very important to remember, this world is not our home. Heaven is our ultimate destination. We live in a world that’s full of sin – that’s full of problems, trials, and tribulations. Jesus even warned us, life would not be easy. In John 16:33 He says, “ _In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world.”_

- Those who put their faith in Jesus Christ and entrust themselves to the promises of God, who delight themselves in Him, who make His glory their meaning and their purpose are those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide in the shadow of the Almighty. They have no cause to fear death

- As we take refuge in God, its good to note that there will still be challenges to face. The promise isn't that all challenges will melt away, but that by trusting in our God with divine mind we will move through challenges easily and fearlessly

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your mighty protection, upon our lives. Lord, many times we face uncertain moments that naturally cause us to fear. We pray that you help us to take those fearful thoughts captive. Help us Lord, to lean on You. Help us to trust in You more,

In Jesus name.

Amen.

Blessed week ahead

Waiting upon the Lord

Genesis 25:21
Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.

Insights
*Isaac married when he was forty years
*His wife was not able to conceive
* They waited for 20 years
* Then was blessed with Twins Esau and Jacob

Meditation
* Waiting upon the Lord, one has to be:
1. Prayerful - we are told that Isaac prayed to God on behalf of his wife
2. To be patient - for 20 years Isaac waited for a fruit of the womb
3. Have strong Faith (believe)- Isaac believed in the Lord and it came to pass,at 60 years he was blessed with Twins

* Church like Isaac,we need to be prayerful in all our days, endevours
* Be patient,no matter how long it takes
* Have faith that it will surely come to pass

Prayer
Heavenly father, you are the King of kinds and the Lord of Lords,as I wait upon you Lord, give me a discernment spirit and patient
Help me to know that it will surely come to pass, supply all my needs according to your riches in glory,in Jesus name, Amen 🙏
