It is with profound sorrow, yet steadfast hope in Christ, that we announce the promotion to glory of Assistant Archbishop Charles Okungu, Emeritus.

A devoted and faithful servant of God, he laboured diligently in the Lord’s vineyard from his youth. He stood alongside the late Archbishop Dr. Silas Owiti and faithfully served with Archbishop Dr. Winnie J. Owiti until his retirement, exemplifying humility, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel.

We celebrate this stalwart of faith who ran his race with honour and finished his course with dignity. Having fought the good fight, he now joins the great cloud of witnesses, cheering us on as we continue steadfastly in the journey of salvation.

As Voice of Salvation and Healing Church (VOSH) marks 70 years of God’s faithfulness, we honour the enduring legacy of those who have gone before us, whose sacrifice and dedication laid the foundation upon which we stand today.

Our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences go out to his family and to the entire VOSH Church during this season of mourning.
