🌿 CHRISTIAN YOUTH IN ACTION | NATURE HIKE 2026

Yesterday, August 23, 2026, the AIC Ziwani Christian Youth in Action (CYA) had a wonderful time of fellowship, adventure, and connecting with God through His creation during our Nature Hike at Kathanden Forest — Forest Bathing & Water Chase. 🌿💦🥾

It was a successful and refreshing experience as our young people stepped away from the ordinary, explored the beauty of nature, strengthened friendships, and appreciated the creativity of our God. Indeed, creation gives us another opportunity to pause, reflect, worship, and say, “How great Thou art!”

🙏 We thank the Lord for His faithfulness and for a successful event.

A special appreciation goes to Super Metro for partnering with us and providing safe, reliable, and comfortable transport for our young people. Your partnership helped make this experience possible, and we sincerely appreciate your commitment to supporting the next generation.

A Sunday Filled with Gratitude 🙏🏽❤️

What a beautiful Sunday at AIC Ziwani! ⛪✨ Despite the chilly weather, our church family braved the cold and gathered together for a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving. ❤️

Our Sunday School blessed us with wonderful presentations, while the Youth led us in a vibrant Praise & Worship session. 🎶🙌🏽

We were also blessed by the Word through Pst. Elizabeth Mavulu, CED Pastor, who shared from 1 Thessalonians 5:18 — “In everything give thanks.”

The message reminded us that thanksgiving:
🙏🏽 Invites God’s Presence
🙌🏽 Opens our hearts to God’s Provision
❤️ Reminds us of God’s Pardon

Even on a cold day, we showed up—and what a joy it was to worship together! 🥶➡️🔥

🙏🏽 WHERE ARE YOU? — A CALL TO REFLECTION

What a blessed Sunday at AIC Ziwani! ⛪✨

Through the Word, Rt. Rev. Joel Waweru challenged us with a powerful and deeply personal question: “Where are you?”

It is a question that goes beyond our physical location. It invites us to pause and examine where we are with God, where we are in our walk of faith, and where we stand in His purposes for our lives.

Sometimes, God’s question is not about where He is—it is about where we are.

May the Word we received continue to speak to our hearts throughout the week, drawing us closer to God and challenging us to respond faithfully to His call.

📖 “But the LORD God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’” — Genesis 3:9

Where are you today? And where is God calling you to be?
